UPDATE: Still Available.
(12/13/2017) Needs some work.
“I purchased a ’46 Willy’s from a friend in hopes of enjoying it for a summer. I ended up having to do some work on it and didn’t get to use it. I’m moving in the near future and cannot take it with me. I’m asking less than what I have into it. Since I purchased it I have put in a new fuel pump and filter, new carburetor, new battery and replaced multiple wires and fuel lines as well. I have the original collector plates and also new WA plates that still have yet to be installed. This will be a fun rig for someone this spring and summer.”
This needs some more assembly/work, but it is an early CJ-5 (#23631).
“All original, uncut, unmodified, with original drive train and body. Body was pulled off the frame for paint and restoration approximately 9 years ago and never fully reassembled. Only two prior registered owners. It was originally an Idaho farm rig so the miles are very, very low. Odometer says 71,505. It was brought to California in 2003 and used on a mountain ranch before being disassembled for resto. The second owner was the best friend of the first owner so he had knowledge of the Jeep’s entire history. Take that information for whats its worth, but pictures speak a thousand words.
Jeep was used almost daily before the resto began. Original Hurricane 4 cylinder, T90 transmission, Dana model 18 transfer case, Dana 25/44 axles with 5:38 gears. Tires are near new tread but date coded 2008 (when the resto was taking place). New stainless hardware used during reassembly. Original options include the RARE split “Ventilation” windshield (glass is perfect). Also has the Willys heater/defroster option. THIS JEEP IS NOT FULLY REASSEMBLED! It will need a new wiring harness, windshield seals, cables (heater, choke, throttle, etc), brake master cylinder, steering wheel, hoses and belts, and the brakes, clutch, and carburetor gone through.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
(03/21/2017) Craig shared this ad. There is more that is non stock besides the changed electrical system.
“1946 Jeep Willys has new gas tank and an updated 12 volt charging system. Everything else is original. Unfortunately, it does not come with a title but a bill of sale will be given.”
Has a fiberglass body, but looks like a good price. Seller will only sell in person and will not ship.
“65 Willys CJ5 with the f134 4 cylinder 3 speed. 4 wheel drive works as it should. Previous owner installed a fiberglass body. Frame is straight and rust free. Uses a little oil otherwise everything is as it should be. Fun toy. Price is obo open to trades no motorcycles.
I will not ship the car. I will only sell in person. Thanks to too many Craigslist scammers cash or I keep car and title until my bank verifies certified check. Don’t waste my time.”
Needs work. A Washington transplant.
“Small block Chevy runs good, 2 barrel carb, 4-speed 4WD Transmission, Air lockers front & back, body needs paint, interior in good shape, needs to be wired completely, Bikini Bimini top, dual rear gas cans, warn winch”
Parts or project.
“1948 Jeep Willys in good shape. This jeep is 85% complete. Body does have rust and there are holes in the floor. Frame is in great shape. Engine is froze up, transmission seems to be ok. This would make a great project. Clear Kansas title in hand. I am asking $1000.00 OBO. Serious buyers only. No trades”
UPDATE: Pics now provided.
“Looking to sell or trade my 47 willys looking for an older diesel 1/2 ton truck for towing a trailer also open to realistic offers it is a project yes but it runs and drives has a new wiring harness and other new parts still needing to be installed comes with all 6 volt equipment and second engine that needs to be rebuilt this is my favorite jeep and is my long term restoration project but personal reasons forcing me to try to sell it or take it. Willing to consider motorcycles or other trucks as well.”
No engine. May be a parts jeep.
“First year of civilian model Willys. Serial number tag attached to frame rail. No title bill of sale only. Engine and radiator were removed for another Willy’s project but otherwise complete. Pretty firm on the price but come check it out.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
(03/22/2017) Appears solid with a few updates.
“1946 Willys Jeep. Engine just rebuilt. Perfect time of year to enjoy this piece of history! A very fun ride!”
UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $4450.
(02/12/2017) Cammo paint job?
“Rare 1951 Willys Jeep (clean title-original ford 4 cyl motor. 29,000 miles
Runs great. Good brakes. Has the Rare factory winch which uses a driveshaft from the transfer case. Very strong. Had several people tell me it’s worth $2000 alone. But they didn’t give me any money. ????? Can’t splain that Lucy.
Like a Billy goat, climb a telephone pole with this thing. Had radiator leak fixed. New water pump. Ready for action.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2000.
(02/24/2017) Not running at the moment. Lots of custom here.
“1974 assembled vehical, this Jeep was assembled to be our sand Jeep we just don’t have time for it, ran last two years ago, we did try to start it this weekend it turns over no problem doesn’t stay running my guess a fuel pump issue. Or needs a stronger battery.
This is a cj5 frame with an aluminium skin over a cj3a style tub, it has a Buick v8 nail head motor with a msd ignition, 205 transfer case, turbo 350 transmission, Chevy 1/2 axles, Dana 44 in front 12 bolt rear axle.
Needs the drive line put in still. Has poly high back race seats, B&M ratchet shifter. Many parts, will make some one a great Jeep once it’s finished, has turn signals and lights if you wanted to take it down the road and a tilt steering wheel.”
