About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Craig spotted this one. There’s definitely value here.

This is a great survivor with almost all the factory Renegade items still on the Jeep. There are many spots where you can still see the original “Winner Green” paint, most noticeably inside the tool box under the passenger seat.
Some of the more recognized Renegade items are: The two gauges left of the steering column, dual ballast resitors, factory dash pad, rear marker lights, and oil tank skid plate.
This Jeep runs, stops, steers, and shifts.

Mike shared this auction of a CJ-2A with a fiberglass body. In the background he spotted an FJ. It’s unclear if that is purchasable or not, but I was able to track down the gas station in Bogata. There’s also a pic at the bottom of this post.
“1948 willys cj2a jeep, has a fiberglass tub, so no rust through on body, chevy 350 v8 engine, was last cranked about 6 months ago, vehicle has been sitting in my shop for several years, needs a new ignition switch wired up, gas tanks hooked back up an some brake work, currently they are not working.. like I say the jeep has been sitting for several years an may need some tinkering here an there to get back on the road again.. the motor ran strong in it, has long tube headers, mild cam, 4 barrel edelbrock carb, dual point setup, it would be a great project for someone, I just don’t have the time for as many projects I have, so thinning the heard a little, have clean title 1948 in hand for the jeep, buyer responsible for pickup or shipping,”
“Selling my old Willy’s Jeep. It’s an old military jeep. We have done some motor and trans work to it. It has 33″ BFG tires. Currently no motor in it but I have a 350 Chevy motor to replace the one that was taken out. It is fun and very fast with that big 350. Price is negotiable, but not accepting low offers, I would rather fix it up. $3800 OBO”
It’s not clear to me, but if appears the seller has invested $65,000 into this rig?
“PROJECT TRUCK! Go to Boise Craigslist Collectibles and enter Nissan Patrol. All Pics and huge write up on that page. Dont call me until you read all of it please. Its long but worth it. Also have another Nissan SD33t Turbo Super charged diesel w less then 200 miles on it as a spare motor that can be part of package. Comes with a brand new NV4500 5 speed and Atlas T-case. Over 35k invested in that as well. I have all receipts. 3 inches thick. Use as a Land Cruiser Range Rover Jeep recovery vehicle.”
“This jeep is a great restoration project for someone.as you can see from the pictures she in need of some TLC but well worth the work when it’s done. “Willy’s Wagon project. 2 wheel drive, Ford Mustang front end and lowered with Dana rear. 318 and 727 transmission. Some rust and lot’s of patina. Glass and seats included. Will be very cool… no time to finish.”
“I bought this 1951 Jeep Willys with the intention of restoring it, it has a (locked up) buick v6 in it now. I pulled off the front sheet metal and bought a 2002 tahoe 4.8 liter to go in it. I have a bill of sale from the auction. It’s all there except gas tank. All these parts are easy to get new on ebay. I’m pricing it cheap to sell, we are selling our house and need to get it out. 1150.00 obo”
