About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Has a rear winch and the tailgate looks in good shape.
“I’m selling my favorite project for someone else to enjoy! The story about this cute little guy is as follows: I got it from the family who bought it new and it was burned in a house fire. It’s been in Colorado its whole life. It was said that it was a tow truck with a boom in the bed and a Ramsey 6000 lb pto winch in the rear bumper. The boom was removed before I found it. However the winch is still there. It has one of the straightest beds I have ever seen! The sides have no dents and the tailgate is just as straight. The cab is just sheet metal for all that was not metal was melted in the fire. There is the typical rust in the front fenders and the corner of the drivers side door.”
(11/02/2016) “This is a 1954 Jeep Willy. It is good for hunting and comes complete with gun rack. New tires, brakes and transmission. This is a rare jeep and only serious offers will be accepted! Took it to Utah last year and road around in the snow and mountains of Utah.
Remember…this is a 1954 so there are rust spots and chipped paint. So do not call or email with a lot of unnecessary questions.”
This hood has Don Prine’s business card within the resin.
“Never used but has garage wear and tear. This was probably made in the 70’s judging be the phone number on business card. Fiberglass jeep hood for WILLYS cj3b, or if you cut it down it’ll fit a cj3a or cj2a.”

Craig spotted this running and driving FC with a dump bed.
“Putting my FC back out on the market. Here are some details.
Original L-226 super hurricane engine. It runs and drives fine, just needs the carter yf carburetor rebuilt. I have a rebuild kit that’ll go with it. It has typical FC rust on the cab corners, floor boards, and windshield frame. It has a hydraulic dump bed. Ramsey P.T.O. Ramsey winch (not attached). 4wd works. Text or call for any questions. 6,500 o.b.o utv trades may be considered.”
The weekend of March 25 & 26 is the Southwest Military Show in Mesa, Arizona. If you like plans and jeeps, this is a great place to be. As Joe points out below there will be more than a dozen jeeps and jeep-like vehicles.
Jerry forwarded this article from Massachusetts on a Jeep Wagoneer that’s been stuck in a collapsing shed by an unstable dune for forty years. Now, the property owners can finally remove it. I’m sure it’s in perfect shape, lol!
(0215/2017) The floors appear to have been refurbed, but it looks like a solid rig.
“1952 CJ3 in great shape a complete head turner. I see a lot of these at shows and this one blows them away.
I’ve owned it for the last 5 years and it looks to have had a pretty good restoration about 10 years ago. Engine, body and all mechanical parts in great working order. Just had it serviced, completely greased, new battery and tuned up last summer. Has a tow bar, no rust and it runs perfect. Sits in a heated garage upstate. ”
“1952 U.S. Military M38 Jeep

Dana 44 front end 5.38 with disc brakes and Detroit locker as well. T18 4speed with first gear being 6.5 to 1 ratio. No overdrive but can drive on the highway fine. High-steer steering. SOA lift. Dual fuel tanks. 33 X12.50 R15 on real American racing wheels. Spare tire. Brake proportioning valve.
