Craig spotted this ad. It has some type of “garage door rear door”. We aren’t sure if this means a roll up door or a swing up door. Anyone have ideas on this?
“1963 jeep, motor is free and turns by hand. Ran when parked. My wife road in it as a child, we bought it hoping to clean it up some but have not had the time or extra money to do it. Need some body work and what ever it takes to get it running again. Has a hard top on it with a garage type rear door. Rear seats face inward. We also have a spare frame, windshield, and other miscellaneous stuff to go with it. $2000 or best offer. I am told it started life as a forest ranger jeep in the Adirondacks.”

Something a little different.
“1948 willys stock drivetrain with a 1959 Anglia escort body. Car sat for a very long time. Story is two long for this listing but could tell it if need be. It needs lots of tlc. It runs and drives and has great potential for someone with time money and a place to work on it as it is still a project. put in plugs, pts, cap, rotor, new master cylinder, some tires and wheels. Wheels are original 16″ jeep wheels. Brakes need adj, some wiring. Body is good. Wheel wells flaired but no rust after 25 years. Would consider trade for MG. “This is an original vintage press photo. Thirteen new jeeps with snowplows attached have arrived for delivery to the Milwaukee’s Department of Public Works. They will be used in winter for fulfilling city contracts for sidewalk plowing. They can also be used with lawn mower attachments. The fleet will be added to similar equipment already on hand. Future purchase of more is under consideration. George Renno, 1350 South 98th Street, town of Wauwatosa, a passer-by, looked over the vehicles at Greenfield Motor Sales, 9800 West Greenfield Avenue, town of Wauwatosa. The jeeps cost $2,087 each. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 04-02-1952.”

“I am a artist/craftsman who works in an extremely high end furniture company. I just purchased a front WILLY’S JEEP clip to turn around into a bar and I have the windshield frame too. I would love to sell it first and be able to work with the person buying it. Choices could be made about color, numbers added to the side, star on hood, type of woods to use, glass shelving & lighting etc. Other jeep parts also available to make into furniture objects…Lamps etc
