Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Last Friday we drove to Sandpoint, Idaho, to visit with Idaho Todd and Minnesota Chris, aka brothers Todd and Chris McKay. While driving around Sandpoint, Ann and I spotted this awesome sign (3′ x 3′). It looks like there is plenty of parking for jeeps behind this store. How often do you find special jeep parking?? Clearly, Todd has picked the right place to live.

This photo was taken at an auto museum (Harrah’s?) in 1991. I haven’t seen this jeep at any of the California museums I’ve visited. Anyone know what happened to it?

/The seller overlooked at least one critical detail during the restoration of this June 20 1941 MB … There were no June 1941 MBs! If the serial number of 116520 is accurate, this would be a late January or Early February 1942 MB.

I just don’t use it as much as I would like and hate to see it sit. It was used mostly in parades including this years Veterans Day parade. I can send more pictures upon request.”
