About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Jim shared this link. It has some unusual shifter knobs.
“1952 willys jeep, titled, manual transmission, 4 cyclinder, power take off, mild lift, runs and stops but need some tuning.
very rare and hard to find in this condition.”
Thank Craig for this find. If this has the hard-to-find-dually adapters, it’s a good price.
“1953 Willys pickup truck. Great restoration project or Hot Rod. Frame mostly good, one cross member needs to be replaced (I’ve found one on Ebay for less than $100). Cab floors need to be replaced. Cowl and cab corners in good condition. Engine was replaced some time ago with a Buick Dauntless 6. Engine does fire. Fuel lines no good, so only put fuel in carb to get it to fire. Bed in ok condition, but needs a lot of work. I bought this for parts for another one I’ve been rebuilding, but didn’t need anything off from it. It has a dual rear wheel kit. No title, bill of sale only.
Scammers need not reply. CASH only from your hand to mine. NO SHIPPING or third party deals”

Thanks to Roberto Flores for spotting this story. Someone named Cliff authored a story about his family’s WWII jeep, which he has inherited. He titled it “JEEP – FAITHFUL AS A DOG, STRONG AS A MULE, AGILE AS A GOAT”
PHOTO CREDIT: Cliff. Look closely at the 1956 picture in the back. You can see the small petrol tank mounted in front of the windscreen. The jeep was started using petrol but the main tank under the driver’s seat was filled with TVO (Tractor Vaporising Oil) which was much cheaper.
