About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000. More pics provided.
(12/14/2017) “1948 cj2a Willy’s flat fender. Clean title 3 owners. Runs and drives good great tires needs a top. 4×4 mostly original. 3 speed manual with over drive. $5000 or trade for a Toyota. No 3.0”
“I regretfully have to liquidate one of my all time favorite toys ive ever owned. My 1954 CJ3B high good willy’s Jeep. Very loud, very fast off the line very very fun. Has a v8 302 conversion under the hood with stock running gear and 2 stick transfer case. Sitting on 33″ 1250 super swampers they don’t have a whole lotta life left in them but it rolls down the road.”
I’m sure I posted this one, but not sure what happened to it. Thanks to Dan for pointing it out.
“This has been in the family since mid 1960s. Yes, it is in pathetic shape. It underwent a hack job to make into a pickup. Still has some decent body panels. Last ran ~2006 after getting new (non-stock) wiring, rebuilt knuckles/wipers, a Chevy 305 V8, and a bell housing adapter. Still has original 3 speed with lever overdrive. A new gas tank was installed at some point. Not sure if this is a parts car or if someone wants to bring it back to something functional.
Body style is 4×473 SW.
Serial No. is 12123.”
This was in the process of being restored, but the owner(?) suffered a stroke. It’s not clear to me how disassembled it is.
“1950 Willys Jeepster in process of restoration; 283 Chevy motor; 5 new tires; complete new brake system; new white interior; stroke forces sale. $8,000.”
“1947 willys Runs Great
Clean title
Have lots of extra parts that will go with it.
New tires and brakes
Will trade for Electric golf cart worth same $4,000”
“1948 Willy’s Jeep CJ2A flat fender with original engine and drivetrain.
Originally from Louisiana and does not appear to have ever been exposed to salt. Frame very clean and the body tub is still solid enough to pull off frame and patch up without it falling apart if a restoration is desired.
Could put in seats and run it as is too.
Engine stuck and would need a rebuild or replacement. Has a Kaiser Supersonic head on it. Missing some drive shaft pieces and radiator.
Has a clear open title.
$800, no trades.
Selling to add $ to buy a 4×4 truck. Would consider Jeep plus cash for a clean Super Duty 4×4. No ragged out junk.”
“I have a 1964 jeep cj6 i havnt really had time to do much with it.its a kaiser jeep and its pretty rare to find one with half cab and doors.they were special order with jeep from koenig ironworks.jeep runs but it needs complete restoration.i have several body panels to go with it.motor does start and run.call or text.no spam or frauders”
“Selling Dauntless 225 engine block and several parts. I have refurbished the valve covers to include original paint and “Dauntless” jeep decals. I have oil pan that is dented but can be repaired and reused as well as original heavy fly-wheel. I have a few other parts not shown and your welcome to them. Also included is 2 and a partial 3rd cans of green original match paint used on the valve covers.
This is a great V6 block that can be rebuilt to be odd-fire as it was originally or even-fire and makes a great engine in smaller jeep projects. I will accept cash only and am willing to negotiate delivery locally.”
This truck appears to have a rare set of HUB LOK hubs. My research suggested they were produced by the Dana Corp. The only set I’ve run across for sale were sold out of Georgia, so maybe the hubs had more popularity in that area??
Compare those pics to this one:
UPDATE: IT LOOKS LIKE THIS TRUCK HAS SOLD. WAS LISTED AT $7000.

Time to sell Willy, Email your number or with questions and I’ll forward my number. Include the best time to call you back. Craig’s list has lost control of trying to protect my phone number and I’m tired of getting nuisance calls. If the only question you can come up with is “is it still available” do not expect a response, if the ad is up, its still for sale. Continue reading →
