This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/29/2015) Stretched with other mods, it appears to have the original engine.
“This is a heavily modified 1952 Willy’s Jeep. It has a Rusty’s based 3 bar suspension front and rear. The body has stretched 10″ and custom 18″ wheels and off road tires bolted up to the Dana axles. It is also equipped with a 6 point roll cage and a PSC hydraulic steering unit. It has the original flathead four cylinder and Solex carb. Only 320 miles since restoration.”

“I am selling both my Willy’s Truck and Wagon. Truck is a 53′ 4×4 with a 1963 Ford 6 cyl. Has original trans, transfer case and overdrive, Truck came from CA. solid frame and body. The Wagon is 1960 4×4, has original super Sonic 6-226, electronic ignition. Both vehicles run, drive and stop. Both are 12V. Both vehicles need floors where your feet rest. All lights and heaters work on both. Asking $4700 for Truck and $6300 for wagon”

“1959 Willys FC170, factory straight 6 , 4wd, Warn overdrive option , aftermarket “erra” correct flat bed , currently not running ( needs distributor rebuilt ) needs tires, ( tires over 10 years old and dry rotted ) . Interior in real good condition . Cash Sale, no trades, will need car hauler trailer or roll back to transport. Mike shared this photo he found on Facebook of the lovely actress Christine Kaufmann on a jeep. She was born in 1945, so I imagine this was from the early to mid 1960s? This also made the rounds on Pinterest, saved by Roberto Flores. Christine would go on to marry Tony Curtis, among others.

Jennings is one of the U.S. observers advising the Greek army in its push on rebel positions in mountains near Lamia which are interfering with U.S. construction gangs. Rebuilding the Athens-Salonika highway and railroad. Photo measures 9 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 05-11-1948.”
