About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1945 Willys MB Military Jeep, nearly fully restored, new seats & canvas top, newer overhead cam 4 cylinder engine (not original flathead), runs very well. Only needs minor attention on speedometer and other gauges. Local review and transactions only. ”
“I’m selling my 51 Willy’s. I bought if about 6 months for a restoration project. However I now have no time to complete this project because of work and will most likely be moving in the coming future. Since I bought it I have got it running. The tires are in good shape. I changed the starter to a brand new high torque starter, new coil, and new high solid state distributor. The Jeep now runs and drives. I am a little flexible on price. I also have two front wheel and hubs for the jeep in the box. I also have tooling compressor, jack, and jack stands for additional price.”

“1946 Jeep Willy for sale / restoration. It’s missing the tires / wheels as well as the radiator due to vandalism. All other parts are original. It’s a project that was sentimental but we won’t be getting to it any time soon so we decided to get rid of it. Great project for a vintage Jeep enthusiast.
Purchaser must be able to haul away on their own. We will not be able to assist. We do not have full pink slip so we will be filling out necessary paperwork. ”
This photo and caption appeared in the May 1963 issue of Desert Magazine. Note the camping modifications on the CJ-6 in the foreground. Looks like a pretty interesting rig.
Lots of modifications on this unusually stretched CJ-3B.
“This machine is 100% Solid Steel. No bondo, no fiberglass. Built in Colorado by professional machine shop at a cost of $14k. Receipts can be provided. V8 350 Good Wrench motor with less than 1000 miles on it. 4wd, 2 seater and Dual exhaust. This thing can rumble. Brand new tires, transmission, power breaks, and headers. This ride is great but I need the money for the holidays. Received offers to sell locally. There is no reserve on this listing so it will sell. I was burned the last time I listed this so No paypal.”
Visalia, California: “Hobart Portable Welder with Willys L134 Motor. Motor turns over but is missing the carburetor. Appears to be otherwise complete. Asking $500. I will sell the welder without the motor (you remove) for $250.” http://visalia.craigslist.org/grd/5899254427.html
