About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“For Sale: complete, intact, 1947 Willys CJ2A Open Jeep, [green paint pictured]. Clear Legible Data Plate is on the jeep. This is a package deal for multiple jeeps. The jeep and parts jeeps that come with it have everything except a rear seat and fuel tank. This is a restoration project, but a sound one, spare mint frame and many spare parts COME WITH the jeep. From the oil bath air filter down to the 9” brakes, this jeep is complete. The Jeep is a rolling chassis. This will roll right up on to your trailer. Everything not on the jeep is in the jeep and / or in a box for the jeep. The L134 motor is not running, but it is the original L134 Flathead. This jeep’s tub has been entirely rebuilt using 14G diamond plate steel. Someone put approximately 250-400 hrs in the body tub restoration.
Included in the price is a CJ3A, [cammo paint scheme], which is also a rolling chassis, no data plate, no motor trans or transfer case. Differentials are sound and have WARN hubs on the front. Continue reading →

Stever shared this eBay ad. It is a colorized reproduction photo of some famous Brooklyn Dodgers in a jeep. Not worth a whole lot, but interesting just the same.
Seller seems to be getting more aggressive with the pricing. Interesting photo just the same.
“1944 Press Photo American jeep stops and read the signage in Highway “6”
This is an original press photo. New Zealanders, who probably got their information from a close contest with Nazi Bullets, erected his sign which temporarily halts an American Jeep on famed Highway “6” which leads to Rome. “Achtung” is the German word for “attention” and the warning it headlines is situated a few miles from where the Rapido River crosses the highway south of Cassino. Photo measures 8.25 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 3-18-1944.”
Steve shared this ad. The jeep has an older body kit that mixed CJ-3A, M-38, and MB elements.
“Calling all Jeep collectors! Here is a great opportunity to own a fully restored classic Jeep model CJ3A. The Jeep was restored approximately 10 years ago, has been driven just 100 miles since the restoration and has been garage kept since its restoration. The frame and body are in excellent condition. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of the restoration. Since being acquired by the owner the fuel system was replaced due to corrosion from long periods of non-operation. This Jeep is well maintained, looks great and drives well.”
(11/09/2017) Rough shape, but these are hard to find.
“You are bidding on a rare prototype ford jeep known as the GP. This is a very early first series GP. Although incomplete it comes with many parts. The frame is in excellent condition. The tub will need repair and I’m including the front and rear floor replacement panels. Here’s a quick list of included items but I do have more that goes with the project. I have a title that matches the vin on the frame. This is your chance to get your hands on one at a very reasonable price. Continue reading →

History:
This vehicle was purchased in 2002 at 75,866 miles on the odometer. It was maintained and driven weekly for a few years. It was then parked for approximately 8 years. In 2014 the cylinders were soaked with Marvel Mystery Oil and the engine was turned by hand. After a tuneup, some distributor parts and a carb rebuild it cranked right up. The wagon was then garaged until recently. This vehicle is being sold “as is” to make room in the garage, as well as to give another enthusiast the pleasure of working on and driving such a great historical vehicle. Continue reading →
