About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Runs and drives good, has title, all lights and turn signals work, many of extra parts. Comes with a whole other parts Jeep. I’m too busy to enjoy it and hate seeing it sit needs a good home.”
“The frame-off restoration includes new front brakes, a new gas tank and lines, new front, rear, and transfer case seals and a total rewire with new wire (6 volt).
It has been updated with a more powerful 134-F “Hurricane” overhead valve 4 cylinder engine.
It has been fully cleaned and repainted.
Completely new tub body. New fenders. New hood and custom scoop. New windshield and frame.
Sporty black and silver custom paint job.
All new period gauges and equipped with seat belts.
This JEEP is ready for exploring the trails, hunting, or roughing it in the canyons.
It is perfect for a quick spin to the golf course or mail box. Kids love to ride in it. It is licensed and ready to go.
It would be fun at JEEP shows or in parades!
We are showing a dually tire setup, but they are currently not on, nor are they included.”
“Over 200 hours of restoration time in this one. Engine has been rebuilt, new bearings, seals, u-joints. Most recently we had the transmission and transfer case rebuilt by a transmission mechanic, replaced fuel tank, carburetor, much of the shift linkage, brake lines. Seat belts have been added and it’s be switched to a 12V electrical system. Tires are new, spare included. It didn’t have the spare mounted on the side when we got it. It’s been kept inside our garage.
Price is negotiable. We can deliver within the 48 states.”
There’s a strap across the hood for some reason. Refurbed, not restored.

“Bought 12 years ago for weekend project. Has been stored inside ever since.
Reasonably sound frame. Has many new parts. New valve job and rings installed. New head gasket and radiator purchased but not installed. Heart surgery and a wife with common sense have forced me to reduce my number of projects in the barn.”
A Happy Thanksgiving Holiday of everyone out there. I shall be thankful for jeeps today! Apparently, one Major E.P. Hogan was also thankful for these unique vehicles, so much so that he wrote an article for the Sep/Oct 1944 issue of Army Ordnance called The Jeep In Action: Some Adventures of the Army’s Ubiquitous Vehicle. It’s a pretty interesting read. i’ve included it in its entirety for your holiday pleasure. Click on the images to more easily read the article.
This was on eBay a couple days ago. I was tempted to bid on it, but I figured the money is better spent elsewhere. It sold for $25 plus a $5 more for shipping. Neat brochure!
