“All these parts were in one group in a barn, several items marked Willys mb from the 1940’s and I believe they all are.
Look at the pictures, write for measurements or identification marks and more pictures.
There are 4 hoods and 2 gas tanks in addition to all the front and rear axle parts
All are to go in one lot,, I will not seperate,
Everything was in a dry pole barn and reasonably clean.
I seem to collect stuff so will consider trades, old military is my main interest
Write then I can call,, hard to receive calls here, this is on and mail is open all the time so i reply fast.”

UPDATE: A search revealed a second ad, this time in the December 1968 issue of Desert Magazine (pg 34). That same issue also included ad for VW fenders by the same company (pg 42).

This fiberglass hardtop for CJ-5s was advertised in the November 1968 issue of Four Wheeler. I’ve never run crossed one.
1968 Desert Magazine Ad of the VW fenders:

A reader who shall remain anonymous shared the story of how pictures of his jeep mysteriously appeared on Craigslist without his knowledge. It turned out someone had taken the pics off a different craigslist ad and was using them to trick buyers into sending the thief money for a vehicle he didn’t own.
Our faithful reader only discovered the issue thanks to eWillys. He was quite surprised to see an ad for his vehicle! So, he contacted the police, which led to the takedown of twenty people working together to “fake sell” vehicles across the US. He’ll be testifying in court later this year.
Here are a couple links discussing Craigslist scams:
So be careful out there!
Kaiser Willys is having a Fall photo contest with prizes up to $1,000. Send a photo of your jeep to them and maybe you’ll land on the front cover the their 2018 catalog!

UPDATE: Blaine found a link for this FC. It’s the Fire Department FC that’s been for sale for a while: http://www.ewillys.com/2017/07/03/1958-fc-170-ventura-ca-18500/
The seller of a trailer on eBay also had this FC for sale. Since he posted his p# on the eBay ad, I’ll include it here: 562-244-8611
