About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(05/28/2017) “1958 Willy’s Jeep CJ-3B Navy Department issue. My Dad has owned this Willy’s since 1995 and used it on his property until 2010 and parked it. He never registered it and does not have a title. I does run but will need a new water pump (seized) and fuel pump. The carb. needs to be rebuilt. He has three original wheels. Engine number matches the Willy’s ID plate.”
“1948 CJ2A no rust perfect frame and body, 283 V8, the rest of the drive train is all original-T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, front axle Dana 25 and rear axle Dana 41.

“This is an all original, unrestored Jeep with 30,923 showing on the odometer. Taken off the road and unregistered since 1974, stored in a barn and used around a farm/camp since then. The odometer stopped working after the first few years of farm use, have evidence of 28,782 miles on 8/24/1972. Engine runs great, starts right up, new tires, recent exhaust, excellent brakes, drives great, 4WD works as it should. Has the cabin heater option. Comes with the original canvas top with bows, two sets of doors, an extra set of bows for a bikini top, spare tire and original manuals. The top needs some re-sewing of the seams. Some rust in the usual places. Need some minor repairs to be roadworthy, mostly electrical.”
Has a later model oil bracket, so there may have been some engine work at some point (or the original bracket broke).

“FS/FT. 1974 Jeep CJ6. This is my daily driver. The speedometer and odometer are not working, so I do not know the actual mileage.
Within the last 18 months, I have completed the following work:
– upgraded from points to electronic ignition
– rebuilt the carburetor
– replaced all wheel bearings and seals
– all new belts and hoses
– upgraded headlights with a relay wiring upgrade
– rebuilt brakes including all four wheel cylinders
– new tach, oil pressure and temp gauges
– lots of other work done, any questions just ask.”
