Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Bought this awhile back to fix up obviously it’s not happening $5,000. 1948 Willys Jeep has a 302 in it the transfer and transmission is stock. It has a new aluminum radiator I don’t know too much about it I bought it I gave it a lift and when I did the lift it slowed me down on everything I can tell you what I know I have title in hand tags are current but it is black tagged”

This vintage looking wagon has a number of updates.
“57 willys wagon. Fuel injected 5.0 out of an 89 mustang runs strong and gets 16 miles per gallon on the interstate. Front disk brakes. New tires. Comes with lots of extra parts. This wagon is a joy to drive, it does need some work it is 60 years old and definitely not without its flaws but I have drivin it on a couple road trips one of which was to vegas and it did wonderful and will run 65-70 mph all day and get 16 mpg. All the lettering on it is all just stickers and can be removed.”

Jim spotted this one. It has some CJ parts, including the head.
“Jeep comes with rebuilt transmission, parts engine plus other miscellaneous parts. It has new brake lines, brakes, tires, tubes and new canvas top and seats. Jeep runs but needs a battery. Does not have title but has NC DMV registration bar code and sticker. Have headlights and new headlight cage mounting bracket. Due to health reason I’m no longer able to work on it. No problem getting the title.”

Has a spring-over-axle setup.
