Mark’s looking for a CJ-2A Halftone preferably in the southeast.
“Looking to buy a half hardtop for CJ 2A, preferably aluminum, but will consider steel. MUST be a 2A top as I do not want to modify my windshield frame for any other top to fit. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was auctioned.
This will be auctioned Sept 27th. It’s listed as a ’47, but has full floating hubs and tool indents.It also appears to have the earliest CJ-2A serial number data plate on the left of the three dash plates. The plates themselves have been trimmed at the corners, then redrilled and pop riveted onto the dash. This could be a ’45.

“For sale 1946 Willys cj-2a. All original. It has the 4 cylinder flathead,3 speed transmission and hi and look transfer case. It has lockouts for the front end. Radiator has been rebuilt. The jeep runs and drives good. The brakes work good as well. Fuel tank is newer. Tires are like new on original 16 inch wheels. I have a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing that goes with it. The throwout bearing is starting to make noise.Body is in good condition. It’s a nice flat fender. It has a clear Missouri title.”

“Grandfather’s old Willy’s. Probably needs everything. No idea If or where a title might be. More pics and parts listed under auto parts. Tore down the lean to it was in. We don’t know what year it is and didn’t even know it was in there. It is complete but will need restored. Have two extra front cowls with windshields we will sell seperate. 1963 license are still on it so a Title exist somewhere but a inheritance of one or two generations would make it hard to come up with. Any of you Willys people that know what the proper description of it is please send me a text. For some reason one L in willys is what the computer wants to use.”
