About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This 1948 Willys Jeepster Phaeton is an older restoration that is continually maintained by its current owner. The pictures should clearly show the cosmetic condition. It runs very well and drives like it should.
This Jeepster is located in Newport, RI and is ready for immediate enjoyment.
Additional pictures can be found at http://www.tomlaferriere.com.”

Looks solid. Given the updates, I’m surprised it still has an L-134 in it.
“For sale, good running Willys. 2A with 3A windshield and frame. Has many hard to find parts, set up for four wheeling. Nice original flathead 134 ci engine, runs cool and good oil pressure, and no smoke. T98 4 spd transmission and new clutch, Model 18 transfer case, freshly rebuilt warn overdrive unit installed. Running a late model wide track Dana 30 in front with lock right, disc brakes, superwinch hubs, Dana 44 rear with detroit locker, 538 gears. All fluids new. All springs, hangers, and shackles replaced with 2.5 inch wide wrangler springs with military wrap. 35 inch bfgoodrich mud terrains.
Body was taken off the frame when the Jeep was done over, complete new front floor installed, no rust. Frame is clean and was boxed in the front, has power steering and newer style saginaw box. Converted over to 12v with regular gm alternator, optima battery. Recovered seats. Custom body armor for rockers and rear corners, full roll cage, cb radio. Everything works, including heat, has newer full top from Bestop. Warn winch also included. The front fenders are made from stainless steel. This is a turn key wheeling rig, goes very well off the road while still being streetable to and from the trail. Asking 9600 obro. Please, no trades. ”
Seller believes this only has 8100 miles, but the front frame rails suggest if that is the case, they haven’t been light miles.

Many spare parts that include 2 rebuildable engine blocks, cylinder heads, manifolds, new brake shoes. flywheels, pressure plates. Note: does not have title but per IN BMV a title can be obtained. Passenger seat is not correct. Floor pans have some rust under the seats. Delivery available.”
“THIS IS A SOLID COLO JEEP VERY SLIGHT RUST NO SERIOUS RUST RAN WHEN PARKED 7 YEARS AGO DRIVE TRAIN SOLID COMPLETE LATER WHEELS TIRES WOULD MAKE GREAT M38 ARMY JEEP KOREA VIET NAM ETC. FOLDING WINDSHIELD ETC. THIS IS A GREAT HUNTIN JEEP THAT WAS THE ONLY USE FOR YEARS GREAT JEEP READY FOR NEW OWNER”
“1942 Jeep Willys Cj2a. Mostly Original. Still has the original flathead 4 and drive train. It is still a 6 volt system. There have been some rust repairs on the body. It ran 6 years ago before it was parked in southern Arizona. Everything should be there to get it running again except the starter.
Please review the pictures as this jeep will need some work. The seats are rotten and will need to be replaced. It sat outside in southern Arizona for 6 years. I got this to work on it over the winter but time and money never appeared so it is time to reduce the number of projects I have. ”
“I am selling my Willy’s. Was going to be a project Jeep but have no time to rebuild engine. It has a clean body with seats and diamond plate in the tub.
Previous owner was the one that restored it and had a full underbody coating sprayed on. I have the title, plates and current tags. Everything is up to date with the DMV.
The previous owner blew out the bottom end. Currently has a Chevy 350 in it with rams horn headers. Buy a crate engine and drop it in and drive off! It has a rebuilt radiator, relocated gas tank and high performance heads. New battery (bought last year) and comes with towbar and rear bumper. Also has the overdrive for the transmission.
Winch not included. Asking $4,000 OBO. Come take a look and make me an offer! Text or call me!”
“I bought this with the intention of restoring and just don’t have the time. It’s the first year of the high hood flat fender CJ3B. It has no paperwork and does not currently run so is being for restore or parts. It’s pretty rough but would make a great father & son project in the right hands. The Dana axles are intact as well as the t90 trans&Spicer 18 transfer case. It has a tow bar on the front and does roll for easy transport. Please feel free to email and questions. Thank you! $900 or best offer! If the ad is up, it’s still available.”
Thanks to Chris for spotting these hard-to-find jeep labeled ice scrapers for me. The one in the middle will be saved for Rusty. These are more advertising items than practical scrapers, as they aren’t very big. Above them is a 3×5 postcard for comparison.
On another note, Chris also found a set of these. On what were they installed?
