About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
There’s a sale pending on this one. What’s on the passenger floor? Is that a heater?

Seller won’t sell to someone outside Washington State.
“Running driving 1960 Willys. Removable hard top with steel doors. The CJ is stock with an f head 4 cyl. 3 speed. Permanent plates. Comes with a solid spare tub. The tub on it is pretty rusty. Comes with a set of stock steel wheels a spare tow bar rear hitch and a couple other small spares. Would make a fun little hunting rig. You can fix it up or you just enjoy it as it is with all of it’s “patina” for as we used to call it RUST. Please keep your calls and texts to decent hours. No I don’t need help selling it no I will not return out-of-state inquiries.”
It’s a project. It has the gov plate and markings on the tailgate.
“I have a 1951 willys cj3a that was currently being stripped and repaired but i have to stop where im at and let it go. The jeep did run and will run But at the moment does not run because i have taken it all apart. This is an authentic navy jeep with ots original military data plate. 3000 takes her home. Local pick up only.”
Jim shared this oddball. It’s only two wheel drive and has an ABS plastic body.
“Here we have 1970 Citroen Mehari. Car will but need tank cleaned out. These are EXTREMELY rare in this country! Cars condition decent considering it’s age and that it’s made plastic!
This car can driven as is or with very little work or would be a very good start for a restoration, your choice!
All parts are available, car to be complete! It has new tires and canvas ta op section.
Clear title and keys! Partial trade for firearms.”
There may be some value here, but the seller is clear it’s a project.
“1970 Jeepster Commando. 231 Odd Fire V6, turbo 400, 3.31 axle ratio. The engine has a GM HEI conversion. Has a saginaw power steering conversion. Dual exhaust. Originally orange, was repainted in/out yellow some time ago. Complete Jeep, has roof rack and rear wind deflector. Missing rear seat. Does have some rust but not bad given the year and for being outside. The roof does unbolt so you can go topless.
Someone in the past replaced the 225 v6 with a newer 231 v6. I do not know the mileage of the jeep.
This is an old jeep, it will need attention and maintenance. You should expect this to be a complete project, expect to go through all systems. It does start, I just replaced the intake gasket, rebuilt the carb and changed the oil. Transmission shifts tight, cooling system works great, replaced thermostat and brakes work but I would still recommend towing it home to check it over.
Clean Oregon title/Bill of sale.
$2500 or reasonable offer, this is a lot nicer than the other commandos listed on CL in this price range. I am accepting offers as long as they are reasonable.” https://kpr.craigslist.org/cto/6168648363.html
I don’t know anything about this style of hardtop.
“Full fiberglass hard top for a 1955-1975 round top Jeep CJ5 or M38A1. Is in really good condition. Only part that isn’t good is the rear window is cracked (as pictured) but could easily be fixed with plexiglas. Great addition to any CJ or M38A1.”
