Nick shared this one. The glove box lid looks swapped and the tool box lids are missing. Hasn’t been started in a while.
“You are looking at a RARE 1942 Willeys Script Jeep!! It has been garaged or in a barn since purchase in 1946. Owned only by two owners and has title. It has been painted red by the son when he was in high school so it has the army green underneath the red. As you can see from the pictures it doesn’t have much rust for the age in the pictures the spots that don’t have red is the army green underneath and has all the parts except it needs new canvas for the top. It is the early 1942 Willeys because it has the Willeys stamped on the back of it and the military asked them to stop stamping in the end of 1942. It hasn’t been started for 25 years.”
This brochure from March of 1961 discusses the “Complete Line” of Jeeps, but only shows five on the fold out section. This is Form No. DM61-03.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
(03/09/2017) Has some updates.
“I am asking 6500 for a 1943 Ford gpw Army Jeep with Bantam trailer. It has a Buick 225 V6 with Warren Overdrive and rear posi with front power lock differentials. Full cage roll bar gas and Tire rack on rear.
I got hurt it will no longer be able to use it so it’s time to go someone who will appreciate it. Of course it is 75 years old and could use a little TLC and needs new tires but all in all it’s a very nice Ford gpw army jeep M1 gun mount on windshield set up for the Rubicon. For more information contact me.”
Runs and drives. Needs some body work.
“1956 willys jeep
Was licensed, inspected and registered 1 yer ago, have registration
Starts and runs excellent, 4×4 hi/lo excellent, transmission as well, even the original radio works. The heater core had a leak so I bypassed it ( it may be fixable so the heater would work as well)
Frame/drivetrain mechanical are solid, could use normal body work ( for a 1956 this would be expected). This one is easily restorable
Has a hard top with doors included”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $9950

Great original restoration,or 4×4 mud truck or drive it the way it is.tires hold air but are very weather cracked.trades maybe, muscle car or truck?”

No obvious rust.
“We have a 1956 Willies Jeep Pickup 4×4 that is in really good condition for its age…. It is very drivable. 4 wheel drive works good. Lots of work has been done, but could still use some work…. Front glass is really good and back glass good but back glass has a BB spot or something, the passenger side is cracked and needs to be replace which would be an easy fix. Can be restored or it can be driven just like it is. Have quite a bit of extra parts. Serious inquires only please, as everyone’s time is valuable and important. $5800 obo that is reasonable. Really fun truck!”
Has some driver’s side damage, but no pics of it provided. There may be some value here.
