Paul’s Trailer Restoration Continues

Paul’s made more progress on his M-100 trailer restoration/transformation into stainless steel.

He wrote, Twelve cut and bent stainless steel tie downs for the M100 trailer with two original tie downs (one has been straightened) along with four replacement stainless reflector bodies just above an original reflector body.

The old reflector and the new replacement reflectors. The replacement tie down hooks and the reflectors will join the other repaired or fabricated parts in the crawlspace under the house until needed.

Also in the crawlspace are the duplicate sides and front and rear panels (18 gauge stainless steel) for the M100 trailer box. The gnarly looking hunk of what appears to be a dinosaur bone just to the right of the metal panels is actually an odd piece of wood from a coffee tree.

“Hello,this listing is for my 1963 Willys Jeep FJ3 Fleetvan as-shown. These are getting to be super hard to find in any condition,sadly though this one needs to be completely restored. I bought it in Alabama 4-months ago and AL does not issue titles on older vehicles,so I do not have a title with this vehicle,I do have a Bill of Sale from the last owner which is enough in most states. Ebay required that I do not leave that option blank so I put Salvage. I was not told of the actual condition of this before I bought it,and I will be surely taking a large loss on it,but I want it gone. UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500.

(08/03/2016) Needs a little bit of work. Appears to include the Warn winch. Could be a good jeep for working on and driving (once the brakes are fixed). Has a purpose-built structure for carrying something.

It’s not running at the moment, but looks in good shape.

“’53 Korean War vintage M38A1 Willy’s Jeep. Overall in good shape but presently not running. Was running great when I purchased it two years ago for a restoration project, but it has been sitting in the garage since then. I’m sure batteries will need replacing, oil pan gaskets leaks and carb will need cleaning. Everything else looked solid when I bought it. Tires are like new. Canvas top & seats are awesome. Body is solid. Even have side doors and flaps. Hurricane engine only has 22,700 miles. Also has a heater (not installed). Great start for project military Jeep.
