About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: Pics now provided. Unusual way of mounting the winch.
“1st Generation, WWII Ford Jeep. In the one picture you make out the FORD logo stamped in the body. 100% original. Complete. Hardtop is currently on it. Also have the soft top for it. The winch on the front was made by the Bradley winch company TULSA, OKL. Model #J2-134. First $6,000 gets it. Buyer has to make arrangements for shipping or towing.”
(01/25/2017) Looks in good shape, but it isn’t as stock as seller suggests. (rear lights, front parking lights. no engine gutter, different steering wheel, seats, swing brakes, ….)

There sounds like some value here if the floor replacement was well done.
“1954 CJ3B Willys Jeep Project. Clean title in my name. Sandblasted and painted, rhino lining in floor and bed. Front half of the floor was replaced including the tool box floor and hat channels. Seats are like new. Has Saginaw steering. I have the original front and rear ends, both in good shape, as well as those from a donor CJ7. I have a Dauntless 225 V6 with flywheel that came from a cj5. Started easily, ran good, no smoke , knock or strange noises. Have headers as well as expensive aftermarket motor mounts and expensive aftermarket aluminum radiator with cap and tank for automatic transmission cooling. New signal and tail lights, roll bar, new gas tank with cap, other odds and ends as well as take off parts. No transmission, but comes with a D18 twin stick transfer case. I have a disassembled Warn 8274 winch that needs rebuild kits and motor rebuild or replacement. I also have a Dana Spicer 23 rearend from a GPW.”
“I have my Willys CJ2A Jeep up for sale. Do not have the time or room to complete. You can read the full ad description under the Nashville CraigsList auto for sale. To many new things to list but the jeep starts and runs great. The High/Low and 4 wheel drive work good as well.
See the Nashville ad or call if you have any question. NO TEXT, NO TEXT and NO TEXT”
This ex-DJ-3A convertible was changed to 4×4. It looks to be a 1958ish or later model. Still, There’s at least some value in the parts (There are some DJ-specific parts I could use — bumper, windshield, side mirror, shifting assembly). The hood looks tight, though has a few dings. The tranny cover plates look good. There are some top pieces left.
“Little willys jeep. Motor is free, think it will run. Came factor as a 2 wheel drive an collum shift. Has been converted to a 4×4 front axel an has a 4×4 transmission an transfer case to go with it.”
