Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. PHOTO CREDIT: Cliff. Look closely at the 1956 picture in the back. You can see the small petrol tank mounted in front of the windscreen. The jeep was started using petrol but the main tank under the driver’s seat was filled with TVO (Tractor Vaporising Oil) which was much cheaper.

Front axle locking Hubs work perfect
Drove it around my yard to test all gears and 4×4 and it pulls like a tractor
