Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. A potential buyer was looking for some feedback on this one. I’ve sent them mine. My biggest issue was those front frame rails. they’ve been extensively patched.
“Here is a nice Jeep from World War 2. GPW engine, T90 transmission, with original front/rear axles. Nice straight body, but to be honest, unsure if original or reproduction?? All the holes on the tub have been welded up, which reproductions come un-drilled if I am correct?? Has 5 combats with new tires, tubes, and flaps. REAL NICE Jeep for the money.
