This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This 1955 Jeep is a US Army M38A1. It has been switched over to a 12V system. It has an canvas top just like what would have been put on it in the 50’s. I was in the process of restoring it but rain out of resource to get the job done. It comes with several new parts and even has the original manual. Cash and pickup only. I will not work with a shipping company.”

The seller guessed that this a Willys MA, but he was quickly educated by some folks on Facebook.

Have 4 kids. From the firewall to the front is complete. From the firewall to the back needs a new body pan. “1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A: Just finished, complete frame-off restoration. New body, New frame, rebuilt Engine, and Transmission. It has the original color of when first built: Harvard Red, body, and Autumn Yellow on the rims. Everything is either new or has been rebuilt. 95% period correct with a museum quality”
