Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Rust free jeep has been restored by previous owner completely new body rebuilt 4 cylinder flat head, updated aluminum radiator, 4×4 all works high and low range, when it was painted the paint shrunk causing defects in the clear coat. Jeep has all new suspension components with heavier springs and new tires. I also have a PTO winch that I will put in with the deal if the price is right!”

“1966 Austin Gipsy LWB 4×4 pickup truck. Has 2.2 Austin A-70 4 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual transmission, hi & low transfer box, right hand drive, 12 volt system and fibreglass hardtop. Body has rust but good solid frame. Ex-British military truck. Uses same drivetrain parts as found on Austin Healey 100-4 & 100-6 models. Wheels interchange with early Land Rovers and Willys Jeeps…NATO wheels. Has good Indiana title in my name. May consider trades of MGB cars, Triumph TR6 cars, Sunbeam Alpine cars, Jaguar S types or Land Rover Discovery S2 models or silver coins or good farm tractor with front loader..”
