About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a jeep that has been in a barn for 20 years or more. It is all original and the odometer reads 7,000 miles. This jeep had a had top and was from Texas and that is why the floors are so solid.. The head was taken off a back, I do have it.”
“1965 Jeep fj6 Fleet Van, Old Mail carrier. Been sitting for years, just pulled from the woods but still fairly solid despite the forest on it. Rust holes only around the front left corner. Lots of potential and super rare. Hurrican 4cyl, Right hand drive, automatic, and fairly complete. I really want to keep this but have too many projects and don’t want it to sit. Could be a sweet camper, business van, ice cream truck, service truck, etc, etc…$2000 obo, No Title, Bill of sale only. possibly trade for air-cooled VW stuff”
“1948 Willy’s Navy Jeep CJ-2 just finished being restored. Original rebuilt ( 200 miles) 4 cylinder engine with manual transmission. New tires etc. This is a rare Navy edition that would make a fine addition to someone’s collection of military vehicles.”
“1962 Willy Jeep Station Wagon for sale. Looks great, drives well. Chevy 350 engine. Electric Wipers. Contact with questions or for additional pictures.”
“For sale is a very dry Colorado FC-150. Been in storage for over 15 years.

The FC-150 was produced between 1957 and 1961. This one is a “Narrow-track” referring to the wheels being inset on the chassis and it has the shorter 81 inch wheelbase vs. the longer on of the FC-170. Basically it’s a Jeep/Willys CJ-5 chassis with a Forward Cab and pickup truck body attached. These trucks were industrial workhorses in their day, now sought after by collectors.
This has the original F-134 Hurricane 4 cylinder that came with all FC-150’s. Everything is there and complete. The 4wd system has high and low range 4wd and a 3 speed trans. Continue reading →
“1948 Willys 1-Ton Truck. This is a real nice Willys Truck. It starts and runs fine. Engine sounds good. It is real eye candy to people that know old Willys and trucks. I purchased 15 months ago and have only replaced some fuel and radiator hose. Prior work done by previous owner. No service records available. I understand the engine is not original but is the military L-head (?). See picture.
Don’t know the quality of the body work repairs over time, but it looks nice. Bed steel is solid with welded steel slats (to replace rusted areas). There is evidence of rust under cab and rocker panels that has been repaired. There is no visible rust. Continue reading →
