UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $2700.
This truck runs, but hasn’t been run in a while. The brakes need to be completed. There may be more work necessary here as well.
“I have for sale my Dads Willys pickup. It is equipped with a small block Chevy 283 engine in it. Engine runs but haven’t ran it in awhile, certain it’ll fire right up once we prime the fuel system again. It’s also equipped with all new front disk brake conversion which was never fully ran as it needed bigger rims to accommodate the disk brake setup. The front disk brake setup alone cost $1000 new. We also have with the disk brake kit a Wilwood brake master cylinder which we didn’t put on yet. Comes with all hardware and instructions to complete installation. With very little work it’ll make a

“This is a fairly pure 1946 CJ2A. Biggest modifications seem to be the tail gate has been replaced with a solid panel with gas can and spare tire mounted there. Electrical system is 12 volt with alternator. Carb has been rebuilt, starter replaced, new gas tank and lines installed. New master cylinder, steel and flex brake lines installed. Starts and runs good. Brakes work. Shifts well, four wheel and transfer case shift and function well. No glass in windshield, tires all hold air but will soon need replacing, Has a heater installed but condition is unknown, lights are not hooked up, Body is rough but better than most of these I’ve seen. Would be an easy restoration from this point. No title, sold with bill of sale only, Because it is 70 years old it is sold “as is, where is” with no guarantees.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $700.
(07/14/2016) No engine.

Here’s another collection of photos courtesy of Charles.
The caption of this photo describes these as “jeep ambulances”, reminding us that the term jeep was getting applied to a variety of things at this time.

This cool custom wagon will be at this weekend’s Jeepfest in Toledo.
“Mustang 11 front end. Disc brakes and power steering. Later model Jeep bucket seats. Custom Mahogany interior. Automatic transmission and 55 Chevy rear end. Nice roof rack. I do have a 2013 car trailer that I will include for $24900. Buy it now. This truck will be in Toledo on Sat. for Jeep show.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500.
The jeep includes a car trailer.
“This Ford GPW was born on April 14th. 1943. Serial number 108XXX. It has the original data plates. The flat head 4 cyl. is not the original engine. All under hood equipment is there. Voltage regulator is a civilian type. This Jeep sat in a pole barn in California since 1998 and has less than 50 miles on it since then. I did a DMV search and the title is clean. It showed no registration prior to 1998. I registered it in Oregon and registration is good until 2020. This Jeep needs some restoration or drive it as is. It is a driver. Starts reliably every time and brakes work.
The jeep comes on a trailer. Also comes with an all steel replica M1919A4 Browning machine gun with new in the box M48 glovebox mount and 5 combat rims.
I make no guarantees and the condition of sale (If you are interested) are as is, where is. I have much more information to share if you decide you want to look at it. I really want to sell this Jeep to someone who will honor its history and restore it to its former glory.”
Listed as a 1945 CJ-2A, it is more likely an early ’46.
“Great running and driving 1945 WWII era Willys Jeep CJ2A. Original Kaiser Supersonic flathead 4 cylinder and all original running gear. Owned by my US Army Veteran 86 year old dad. The lettering is vinyl, his old unit numbers etc. It received a major overhaul 20 or so years ago, wiring, brakes, shocks, all rubber hoses, brake lines etc, converted to 12 volts with alternator, 5 matching correct military tires. At the same time it got new rings and bearings, and valve job. Everything works as it should, high/low range, 4×4, lights, turn signals, horn, gauges etc. Dual gas tanks. New battery, fresh out of long storage. Paperwork is current. Clear title. Old paint, it’s a 20 footer. I have the top bows, not shown. Needs nothing. Oh, except wipers. And a new home.”
May be worth a look.
“Selling my much loved 1949 Jeepster. It’s the original deal…flathead motor, 3 speed with overdrive…(works too) Poor thing just needs more than I have time to give. The paint is all old and faded. The front seats need work. They are not the original seats but I do have the original ones too. It only has a generator. No alternator so the lights are not super bright. I have 5 original hubcaps still. It really needs some billet wheels to make it pop. Perhaps a LS motor to make it really go good at the drags. it’s got 98,000 miles so its probly all wore out by now cause these old cars just were not built like modern cars. They were all wore out at 100k.figure on rebuilding everything. I want a Jeep FC170 pickup or a modern diesel Crew Cab pickup so the poor jeepster gotta go. Might consider partial trade for a FC170 project. It’s fun to drive around ( I drive it a lot) but I want a truck. and it’s so not a truck. I got lots of pix in my phone. is easiest to text them.”
