About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: **SOLD** This was sold in April of 2015 as well.
“1962 Jeep FC170 (Forward Control). Baby Blue, All Good Glass, Good Body, Engine (Hurricane – 6) and tranny (3 speed manual) are there. 62 fc170 jeep runs needs fuel pump &brake work. Has some rust but really cool rig.
“This is a mostly original Willys Jeep, the first year for the CJ series. It does have some rust but is repairable. The right side floor was repaired by a previous owner. The motor was swapped out to the later F head overhead valve engine. It is stuck or frozen, and does not turn over. Previous owner said he drove it several years ago and left it parked, so it will probably need a tear down.”
“1946 CJ2a, this jeep has a title. First off, this willy’s isnt perfect. It runs and drives, but still needs some tinkering. I got this jeep about a year ago in a trade and drove it once around the field when i brought it home and been parked in the shop ever since. I want someone to buy this jeep and use it the way it needs to be used. I’ve replaced all of the fluids, and plugs. It will start right up. It just needs to be drove. So what is wrong with it you ask? There is a little rattle when going down the road, It needs a new master cylinder for breaks (old one leaks. 45$ online) its missing one rear shock, and it leaks just a little. (I believe its a couple bolts in t case that need to be tighend, you’ll have to grind down a wrench to get it to fit) The Willy’s has the stock power train except for wider Willy’s truck axles. Its locked front and back, with lock outs on the front. Has a winch on the front but the disengage/engage switch is broke. Winch does work.
I also have the original oil bath air filter to go with it.”
UPDATE: Still Available. The new pic (see top pic) suggests this is a militarized CJ.
(06/22/2015) Needs a little work, but it runs and appears solid.
“1944 ford jeep. motor has $3000.00 worth of work and parts in it. machine work done by bratz machine in Centerville. I only used it for parades and once in awhile to go around town to keep everything lubed. It does need a new carb and a radiator. I can start it so you can hear it run, at present it has a car rad. in it so I can drive it once in awhile. military tires with one combat rim. I also have an extra trans, a transfer case and frount and rear differentials. This is cash and I do not need or want help selling this. as well as scammers forget it I know all your tricks. “It’s time to let the old guy go. This very vintage and patina’d Ford GPW has had many great seasons wheeling the gold country. It’s literally logged thousands of miles throughout Nevada, Placer, El Dorado Counties and more. This is a turn key runner driver that is just plain cool. Willys Engine and trans, also Willys axles, but still plenty of cool Ford Script pieces like the seats. This rig has done a little of everything from daily driving duty to he Barrett Lake Jeep Trail. It runs smooth like a Singer and has never left the owner stranded. Pressurized cooling system, 12 volt upgrade, big brakes, and some other period correct mods. This would be great for parking at the cabin or towing behind the RV. Helping my AARP friend sell so call AJ and I can assist with viewing, ”
