Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Willys jeep v6 Dauntless T90 trans with Warn over drive. Dana 44 front and rearend lockers, 5.38 gear ratio. TSL 33×14.5-15’s 50″ light bar bimi top. Great trail rig might trade for a boat, what do you have. This is a great family jeep, have a fuel cell for it as well, just haven’t installed yet.”

“97 inch wheelbase, custom frame, 2×4 tube .188 wall. Body and paint in excellent condition. 350 Chevy rv cam comes with another 377 inch Chevy stroker motor. Turbo 350 turbo trans with shift kit performance clutches and bands and 2000 stall converter hurst quarter stick shifter. Dana 20 transfer case with 10 gears. 1 ton corp 14 rear end narrowed 4:56 gears Detroit locker full floating hubs disc brakes. Custom front end 4:56 gears power lock disc brakes warn premium hubs. Rear end is 4 linked with air shocks. Front end has rubicon express spring over springs and remote res shocks. Power steering 4 core radiator, mastercraft seats, 3 inch lap belts. 37″ Goodyear mtr’s, 90% tread. Aluminum wheels also comes with 2 16:50 paddles on 14″ chrome wheels and 2 14:50 desert tracks on chrome wheels for playing in the sand. Call for more info: ”

This struck me as an odd add, so I figured I would forward it. Someone in New York City is hunting for jeeps, though for what purpose isn’t clear.

“Selling my 1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. original engine with only 74,000 miles. these jeeps are hard to find especially early years like this one. the engine turns over but needs work to finish but everything is there. the interior and the exterior has been re-done. truly a nice car. clean title in hand. asking $4,500 O.B.O open to offers.”

This likely has a replacement body. It also seems to have an early CJ-2A grille. Engine is out.
“For sale is my beloved Willys Jeep. Here is the deal. Jeep ran and drove perfect for years. The oil pump failed and overheated and cracked thge block. I pulled engine and was able to locate an engine on ebay that had very little time on it but had got a bit of water in one cylinder during storage. I completely dissassebled the engine. Honed the cylinders and cleaned engine perfectly. So the engine needs to be rebuilt with new pistons and rings but everthing else is fine. everthing is included. Crank and cam and all internals.”

Neat piece, but the price it nuts.
“Unusual solid aluminum Las Vegas Jeep Club license plate topper/ plaque. Measures: 9 1/8″ long X 5 1/4″ wide X 1/4 inch thick. Hole spacing is 3 3/8 X 5 1/8 inches. Sold in original, as found, condition —uncleaned and unpolished. Located in Reno. $200”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $875.
