Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The dashboard suggests it is old than a ’57.

The windshield is particularly interesting. I wonder how well the windshield wiper works.

(05/26/2016) Looks like a clean build.
“Selling my 1949 Willy’s Wagon. Daily Driver. Runs Great. It has a 1955 Chevy 265 engine. Two barrel carb. Three speed trans with Rancho OD 4×4. The speedometer reads 54,000. It has hanging clutch and brake pedals with hydraulic clutch. Really nice inside and out. Serious buyers only please.”

The main cage loop has a couple unusual extra loops. I’m not sure what chassis that is?
