About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a 1947 Willys Jeep with 1 rebuilt F-Head engine and a second F-head that has the machine work done already. It has an overdrive transfer case. Does not have the original seats. Needs put back together. Converted to 12 volt system. Has the front plate to install the F-Head in the CJ2A. Clear Title.”
The mail jeep runs and drives. The rest are parts jeeps.
“I have 4 jeeps total. One is a Postal jeep right hand drive 6 cylinder automatic runs and drives great. I have 3 willy’s jeep rolling chassis. 2 have engines that run with running gear and trannys. Scott drove his 1951 M-38 in Elmer, New Jersey’s, memorial parade. He was accompanied by his father – Sam Walker, son – Andy Walker and daughter – Jessie Walker. Of all places, he visits Pasco regularly, so we hope to meet in person soon.
Marc spotted this photo. The jeep appears to have a rare Midway Sweep Rake attached to it (most of the rake is buried under the hay. I’ve attached a brochure for comparison.
It would be great to have some photos of this from a few different directions.
“1946 Press Photo Enrico Pizzari Runs His Jeep With Coal in Rome -This is an original press photo. Photo measures 9 x 7inches. Photo is dated 12-13-1946.”
Seth spotted this one. When I looked at it closely I realized that both at the top left corner ‘Daisy’ is spelled ‘Disey’ and at the bottom right ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ is spelled ‘Dukes of Harzard’.
Craig forwarded this ad. Looks like a solid rebuild at a fair price. Unclear what “little work” is needed.
“1953 Willys Pick up Truck. 4 wheel drive, automatic , 4.3 chevy engine, big tires, diamond plate bed, not a show car just a crazy good lookin eye catcher, dual exhaust, a little work is all she needs!”
Has an updated engine. It looks like a nice Jeepster.
“1949 Willys Jeepster This is a cool little crusier to enjoy, but I am in need of more space to store my other Cars. It has a great running 350 sbc and 350 turbo auto trans. The rear end is a later model Ford
with 3:45 gear ratio that moves this Jeepster with ease.It also has new upholstery, like new top and side curtains,Elec.fuel pump,12V conversion, new starter, dual exhaust (nice rumble) 15″ chrome
wheels and baby moons, like new tires. The brakes are good (new lines) Lights and turn signals all work. Frame and floors are solid, carpeted. Paint is driver quality with some scrathes and chips.
Items needed are: pass.door latch, wipers, pass. wing window cracked.
This is not a concours restoration, just a fun around town crusier and the price reflects as so.
My asking price is 9600.00 o.b.o”
