About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This has potential. The stock hardtop and Koenig (?) bed extension look in good shape. The 0-8 King Seeley speedometer still has its needle, too.

“Just a clean old Jeep with a ton of new parts. Here are a few of the bigger ones.
Rebuilt T14 transmission and transfer case
Front disc brake upgrade
4 new 31×10.50 tires
New fuel tank and fuel lines
New wiring harness
New master cylinder and rear brakes
New wiper motor and windshield
And the list goes on!!”
John shared this CJ-5 with a Meyer-style half cab, a plow, and no paperwork. This one lacks the battery box lid (making it a 64 or later), but has a WILLYS tailgate (which was halted for 1963 models). My guess is that this is a mid-1960s CJ-5 to which someone added an older or replacement tailgate.
“1955 to 1971 Civilian Jeep CJ5 4×4 For Sale!
No Paperwork, Bill of Sale Only. Frame & suspension in good condition. Brand new brakes, brake line, wheel cylinders, wheel bearings, and shocks. Body in fair condition. Cab and doors excellent condition. Power angle plow 100% functional. Re-Built carburetor. Motor and clutch strong runner”
“1948 CJ2A Willys Jeep. Runs and drives. Has a different motor installed, carbureted v6. Has sat for a year after getting it to the house. Only have a bill of sale. Had planned for a build but lost interest. Too many other projects and needing the space. My loss is your gain. $5,500 obo Make an offer. Text preferred”
“1944 Military Jeep. Runs and drives good. New carburetor, new radiator, new fuel pump, new brakes, new battery, transmission/transfer case rebuild. Has the “hurricane” motor from a cj3b, which is basically the same as the original “go devil” with a different head and 30 more hp. It’s wired up for easy flat tow (unhook the battery, hood the 4 plug) to use stock taillights.
Has island top and soft doors, but not normal top. It has a textured paint job to hide some of the flaws. Far from perfect but looks decent. Valuing the trade around $6000. Possible trades: boomsticks, samurai, car trailer, 12 valve cummins, 70s ford pickup, classic cars, classic bronco, snowmobile, ATV, UTV. Not interested in: major projects, things you grow, labor, or household items.”
“Work in progress, 1956 willy’s truck. 289 chevy straight 6 cylinder. Many new parts, still more to do. Retiring and moving from the area, can not take with me. Good for someone with time and space to finish.”
“All original 1951 willy cab, fender, hood, lights, guages, etc. Prefer not to sell any parts individually, $700 o.b.o. Shoot me a text four06five4foursix39eight”
