About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(07/28/2014) Looks like the floor is patched a little, but may be worth a look at this price.
“1946 cj2a jeep willy got the jeep last year runs and drives but had a bent frame . I bought a nother frame no time to put back together. Have all parts but will need to be put back together. Great winter project. Looking for ???“
“Looking to get rid of this cj 7 1945 willy’s jeep body. Not in the greatest shape but could be used for parts. Also have windshield and front fenders. A hood as well. Make an offer ”
“1948 Willys Jeep project. All steel new body. New wheels, tires and brakes. Lots of parts, some spares. Engine, transmission, transfer case and axles all assembled. Lots of new parts too numerous to mention,”
“I’ve got a running 1946 willys flat fender jeep for sale. Tittle in hand Very little rust and it does run just needs a battery. I had it running and driving a few months ago but it never had working brakes. $750 obo or trades for? Pics don’t show the wind shield or the other fender but I have both.”
“1954 Jeep CJ-3b 4 wd
Not a museum piece but a very nice CJ3b.
Solid, absolutely undamaged, rust-free frame. Rust in the body has been removed and/or treated. Everything possible original that could be repaired and saved has been. I believe in retaining every bit of original content possible.
Original engine, runs great.
Extremely original content CJ3b with high degree of original, working, parts. Still has the original tailgate chains, gauges (working), rear view mirror, seat frames (new correct, cushions), all five original rims,
radiator, engine, trans, windshield (perfect), windshield latches, vacuum wiper motor (works), parking brake system (works), dash data plate, original, working, heater.
Many new bits, all wiring replaced, electrical converted to 12 volts with new alternator,
entire brake system replaced including lines. Entire fuel system replaced from gas tank to the carburetor. New carburetor, fuel pump, lines, and tank.
You don’t have to fight all the sixty year-old rusted fasteners. I have done that. Almost every fastener has been removed, rust treated or replaced, oiled, and reinstalled.
You don’t have to treat the rust, seal the tight areas with 3m 8115, or fill all the pinholes I have done that.
Of course there is still more to do if you like wrenching your own, it’s an old Jeep.
South Carolina title in my name. Cash only, no trades.”
“This is a 1947 Willy’s Jeep with a factory installed PTO in the back. All original parts.. It starts right up and drives like a charm. This Jeep is registered as an antique vehicle in Texas. I received this baby due to a loss of someone close.. and just having it in my possession is hard for me to handle. I don’t know much about this vehicle, but I do know that I have never seen another 1947 Will’s Jeep in the condition as this one.. I’m not needing to get rid of it I just wanted to see what other creative items are out there.. I am located in Garland, Tx but this vehicle is located in Arkansas.”
“This is a rare Dj5 mail jeep with a AMC 232 and 727-TF tranny.
Truck runs real well, everything is original and in good condition with some rust but it has a ton of potential. I am just putting it out there to see what I can get.”
“Rare 1971 CJ-6. 80% restored. New tie rods, complete new brake system, new gas tank, fuel lines and fuel pump, new wiring harness (when I got it , it had the original wiring with a lot of extras wiring that had been added over the years from previous owners) , 2 extras front fenders, a new transfer case rebuild kit for it’s original Dana 18 transfer case, more. I bought it because it is so rare and we wanted an older Jeep from the early 70’s. I drove it for about 6 months before starting to fix it up. I came across a CJ5 that I loved and decided to let this one go. It still needs a little work before it could be painted and it would be a heck of a jeep that many people don’t have. The V6 motor and transmission all are in good shape. All it needs is the final finishes on the wiring harness, the transfer case rebuilt, tires and paint.”
(11/07/2014) Powered by an f-head. Includes an overdrive.
