Looks like a militarized CJ-3A.
“1952 Willys CJ jeep. Needs some TLC. Has been driven a little since I’ve had it. Not easy to start and the brakes need work. It was used for reenacting right before we bought it. Garaged. No rust. Have title and key.”
Restored to original style? Not quite. Looks solid.
“Here we have a 1946 Willy’s Jeep! Its been restored to its original style. 4 cylinders, 4×4 manual transmisson. This Jeep is in good condition, however please remember this is a collectible used vehicle. Willys is truly a classic, famous for its military repertoire, and for being a major part in the WWII era.”
It’s rough, but runs.
“Runs and drives. I just went through the brakes (new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, break lines, and shoes. It has a 307 sb chevy, crane roller rockers, Edelbrock intake, carter afb carb, 3 speed original trans, original twin stick t-case, she is ruff, but with some love could be a cool rig. Or leave her as a rat. I have the hood, spare fender and a set of new warn hubs that go with it. 4×4 works good, front axle has a Lincoln locker, rear has some sort of limited slip. She is a handful! Not for the faint of heart. I don’t have the pink slip, BOS only. She is out of DMV’s system. I’m up for trade/partial trade, dana 60 front axles(SRW), bbc/sbc blower parts (671-871), drag boat parts(whirl-away for casale) v-drive stuff, side by side (utv) nv4500,5600 trans, Harley basket case ( no sportsters), etc”
UPDATE: No longer for sale.

Here are a couple Hobart welders with jeep engines on each coast. Both operate.
1. Hobart Welder, Fruitland, Idaho $750.
“Older Hobart Portable welder/generator, 250 amp, 40 volt, 60% duty cycle. Powered by a Willy’s Industrial 4 cylinder motor. Has one 110 outlet on the front panel. It has been started, runs well and will strike an arc and weld. Currently missing the battery and ground clamp, welding cables are weathered.”
2. Hobart Welder, Haverhill, MA $600.
“Hobart “tow-behind” welding machine with bottle racks.
4 cylinder WILLYS flathead runs great. Armature has a shot and only provides a scratch-arc”
Very rough.
“1952 , clean title, last registered and inspected in 1987, complete drivetrain, frame looks to be in good condition, needs new body
1000 or
Best offer takes it”
Here’s a neat 3B hood.
“Brand new, never installed after market hood for Willys jeep high hood CJ3B”
No pics provided.
“Jeep is currently in need of the body being put back on. Tore the body off to fix frame horns and clean up the frame. When I tore it down it ran like a top and was on the road. The only things wrong at the time were a very small leak on the side of the brake cylinder which I think was just a loose line being that all the lines are new, the line couldn’t be tightened with the body on so I did it when I took it off and haven’t tested it yet. I have the original steel body that is ok but needs work and a fiberglass body that can be run the way it is buy could use some freshening. It comes with many extra parts and all of the stuff you will need to put it back together. Don’t really want to get rid of it but could use the room in the garage.”
