Winter is here (in Pasco … it won’t get above 27 degrees today). So, this photo from Eric Jarvis reminded me of warmer days. It was taken in Dannemora, New York.
It was taken in front of his shop in the first part of August. Not all are his jeeps , three are his brothers and two are his friends. From left to right, Steve Jarvis’ 1965 CJ-5, purchased from Don Prine; Eric Jarvis’ 1943 GPW, also purchased from Don Prine; Steve Jarvis’ 1972 CJ-5 Renegade w/ amc 304 v8 and his 2004 Rubicon; Eric Jarvis’ 1968 CJ-5 with buick v6 and 1946 VEC CJ-2A; Todd Perry’s 1951 CJ-3A; Eric Jarvis’ 1970 cj5 Auburn trencher; Eric Jarvis’ 1965 CJ-5; Bob Stiles’ 1961 CJ-5 w /t-98 transmission; and Eric jarvis’ 1967 cj5 w buick v6, his CJ-3A, and his 1964 CJ-5, the latter two both having Koenig PTO winches installed.
In 1980 the Fruitville Fire Department received a 1951 wagon modified into a “rescue jeep”. This article was published in the Sarasota Herald Tribune on Dec. 23, 1980.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Nick’s selling this 3A with an original Blackhawk plow.
“For sale is a 1950 Willys CJ3A Jeep, I have a clear title in my name for this. It has an era-correct rare Blackhawk plow system. This was one of the better plow kits for the Jeep as it included a full undercarriage plow frame, which prevented the Jeep frame from getting bent. The frame is all solid without any rot. She starts right up and runs great, clean burning with no smoke. Tires are a little dry but I’ve driven it down the backroads without a problem. The body is pretty solid with some patch panels, and the rear floor is in unusually great shape. The only problems with the Jeep is the master cylinder has a leak which needs to be replaced for brakes ($50 online), and a 6” external oil line is leaking below the filter. I just haven’t had time to get to it. Clear glass windshield like new. Also this has a clean soft top to keep the weather off while plowing, and was used to plow a golf course in Michigan. Here’s a list of everything I’ve done to the Jeep:
-Planed head and gasket
-Complete carb rebuild
-Clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bushing
-Fuel pump/lines
-Brake line
-Spark plugs
-Wiring
-Ignition switch
-Refurbished starter
-Engine belts
-Radiator hose
With all the new parts it’s essentially a turn key running Jeep. The new clutch system shifts smooth, and does not pop out of 2nd gear; the tranny and transfercase is nice and quiet. All the fluids were clean when I changed them. This Jeep is ready for plowing this winter. Feel free to call/text me anytime. Would also trade for an M35A2 Deuce and a Half in good shape w/military tires & PTO winch, preferred non-whistler D turbo and rear canopy”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
“here’s your chance to own a very rare willys fire truck and they don’t come up for sale often. This willys fire engine is in almost new condition with only 3300 miles on it. This truck was bought new and was the only fire engine the town had until it was replaced in 1972 then it sat in the fire hall un till march of 2015 when I bought it 🙂 Since I have brought it home I gave her a new 6 volt battery and a bit of a tune up. The water tank in the back leaked so I removed it and repaired it and in the process I damaged some of the pipe fittings to the pump so there is a few new 1″ fittings that don’t take away from its quality and curb appeal.
What also makes this fire truck stand out is it was not built in the USA it was built by the Sterling machine and manufacturing co. right here in Canada if your a Willys jeep kinda guy you may have heard of them they also made trailers and pto type accessories. Im happy to assist in shipping anyway I can.
This little unit runs drives shifts and stops if you have any questions I would rather answer them on the phone so feel free to call me any time between 7 am and 9 pm 7 days a week but please keep in mind the time change as im in Calgary Alberta Canada.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800.
Has a rear PTO. No title.
“I have a 1948 jeep cj2a that runs and drives and stops and has a pretty good body. The original glass in the windshield and has an original complete rear PTO. I do not have a title for this jeep. It does have a factory heater under the dash on the drivers side. It has the original flat head engine and drive train. I put a 1968 master cylinder bracket and master on it for the duel bowl reliability. It still retains the original drum brakes on all four corners. I am asking 5800.00 The two whole jeep pictures are from a few years back before I started using it at my farm but you get the idea of the condition of the jeep.”
UPDATE: Was $10,000. **Status Unknown**

This may be worth a look. It will need some floor work.
“1982 Jeep Scrambler runs and drives. 180k miles 6 cylinder 4 speed manual transmission 4X4 works clutch was recently replaced. frame is completely solid and structurally sound with some very minor surface rust. Body is clean and straight has some rust in the floor pans that have eaten through and will need to be repaired but otherwise there are no other rust issues. Perfect for restoration project.”
