“I can send you pictures. My Jeep runs great it has a great stereo its a head turner you don’t see these much. It has a little rust and like all older jeeps it has some slow leaks. I was going to refurbish it but decided it’s awesome the way it is. The only reason I’m thinking of getting rid of it is to free up garage space so my wife can park in the garage. The engine is a straight up v6 and runs great. The top is in great shape not on now I take it off and store it for the summer and put it back on in the winter. Give me a shout or text and I will send pictures.”

“I have for sale my 1949 WillysCJ3a. I have had this old Jeep for a little over two years and have done some work to it such as a new high torque starter, updated the charging system to a 12 volt system, i have added the back seat and also four lap belts for safety. The only issue is that on the fourth of july the engine started knocking and now will not turn over. I have a Kaiser Willys catalog that will go with it that contains any parts needed to rebuild the engine. The rebuild kit is only around 750 dollars. I would keep the old girl but cannot have more than two vehicles at my apartment. For any pics or to look at it please contact me. This will not let me upload any images of it.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2400.
(09/12/2015) Probably has an f-head.

Looks like a good parade jeep.
“Restored 1942 Willy’s Military Jeep. This jeep was restored about 10 years ago to full military dress. It has a new tub and fenders. It has very few miles on it and has always been garaged and maintained. All mechanicals are in excellent working order and it’s very fun to drive. I call this a parade jeep because it has glossy paint that is easy to keep clean and looks nice in parades but irritates the purists. There are also a few scratches and other details that make it a nice parade Jeep but not necessarily a show winner. If you’re looking for show winner, this one isn’t for you. But if you want a nice driver, this is your Jeep”
Looks like a good build for the price.
