About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Here I have a single sheet advertisement issued by Willys for JeepSpray Equipment on the FC-150 and FC-170. This is from the time period of 1957 through 1965 as these are the only years that BOTH the FC-150 & FC-170 were in production. There is no date printed on this piece.”
“This Willys has been owned by me for 12 years. It was given to me as a gift and the previous owner was from Austin. Original Hurricane F-Head 4-cylinder engine. Has a black soft top. “I am selling my 1947 Willy’s jeep. It runs perfect starts up every time. It has army regulation tires and the engine transmission and everything is original. The body has a few modified bits necessary because of old age but the body itself is original along with the seats steering column and practically the whole thing save from just a few pieces. I am selling because I don’t get to use it as much as I would like and it needs to be run a bit more then I have the time for. This jeep was sent to the army after it was built it went through the Korean War driven by a colonel then sent back to the states and sold to a gentlemen who had it for about 60 years then on his passing gave it to his close friend who I bought it from so I am only the 4th owner and it has always garage though I can’t speak for the army.”
“Jeep Willys project. It has a L134 flathead motor. Will need some work, Motor turns over but no spark to plugs.Willing to look at all trades, I like trucks, trailers, tractors, boats etc or 1000.00 cash”
(10/21/2015) Listed as a 1948, it may be an MB/GPW.

(10/23/2015) This has a military body with a later grille. It runs.
“1945 Willy’s Jeep
4 cylinder (can hear it run off ether or gas down carb)
what you see is what there is. body in good shape, especially for 70 yr old vehicle”
Complete drivetrain
Not running but motor turns freely
Fiberglass tub
Hood, fenders and windshield frame all original.
Needs total restoration.
Clean title. This jeep is titled as a 1942.
I have been contacted by a very informative individual who was kind enough to point out some body part irregularities that would indicate that it would not be a 42. Rather a 1946 CJ2A. Doing more research, I have found the motor to be a GPW 6050, indicating an early 1942 build date.
Looking the vehicle over in detail, I believe it to be a 1942 frame and drivetrain with later Willys fenders, hood, grill and windshield. As stated before, the tub is fiberglass.
I have added photos.
