About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1943 Ford GPW 1/4 ton military (jeep). Ford body, frame, and engine. L134 flathead Ford engine has been recently rebuilt by certified shop specializing in WWII military vehicles. The engine was balanced during the rebuild process. The gearbox, clutch, and drivetrain was rebuilt. New electrical system. New tires. New brakes. New steering arms / knuckles. New cooling system rebuild. New gauges. Over $13,000 USD was spent in the rebuilding process. The body was left unmolested because this jeep is famous…This jeep was used in the following films: Pearl Harbor, Windtalkers, Flags of our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima. The film history is documented. This is a special surviving jeep that is real, not a fake one with a fiberglass body and parts from older model jeeps or from Asia. This is not a trailer queen and can be started and driven with no problems.”

“Selling a Jeep Willys for a friend, please call the listed phone number and ask for Doug, he has all of the specific information on this vehicle if you are interested.

“1946 Willy’s ,C J -2A Jeep with little over a 1000 miles on a rebuilt engine. The engine is a crate engine with everything in the engines new except the crank-shaft and cam-shaft.
The engine is a flat Four cylinder and has been changed over to a 12-volt system. There are all new shocks and springs on the Jeep as well as u-v joints and yokes.
I have replaced all other parts on the jeep with new parts to include the carburetor,fuel pump,malternator,belts,battery,and brake system. The jeep drive-train has been sand-blasted down and a two part a poxy primer applied. The inside of jeep has a black Dura-liner applied and a roll bar. The jeep has all new instrument panels and upholstered seats. There are a few minor details that need to be done but overall the jeep is in great shape;
I also have numerous jeep parts for the jeep to include the following:
*two crankshafts *two heads *springs *water pumps *fuel pumps *carburetor
*pulleys *instrument panels *pressure plate *clutch *tires*assorted bolts and nuts *numerous other assorted parts”

Here’s an interesting piece. There was a similar menu from the Benjamin Franklin Hotel in Philadelphia.
“Vintage menu from the Manhattan Room, Hotel New Yorker in NYC dated August 9, 1944. The front shows a painting by artist James Sessions which is a World War II advertisement for Willys Jeep. Overall in good condition. There is a crease mark where the menu was once folded. There are three menu items checked in pencil. See pictures for details. Measures 9″ x 12″.”
