This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale or trade is a 196 ??? Willys Jeep FC150 Cab Forward pickup. Not sure the exact year, title is in safe deposit box, and will have to get. The Transmission was taken out prior to my buying it, unknown why possibly clutch ??? Trans is in the back. I have not had this vehicle running. The windows are out, and I have them. “This jeep was owned by an older gentleman who passed away before he got it finished. I did some work for his wife in exchange for it. I don’t know too much about it, but here goes:
He put a small block chevy in it, someone told me it’s a 350 but I don’t know for sure. It looks like he beefed up the front springs to carry the extra weight. It’s 4WD with a 4 spd. tranny. His wife told me it is a Muncie transmission. It has a transfer case with two shifter levers. I have never tried to start it cause the installation is not quite complete. Also the brakes aren’t hooked up.
It has new chrome rims and off road tires. He had the seats re-upholstered in leather. They are just sitting in there now, they are not fastened down.
I have all new glass for it, still in the packaging. There’s also window channel and some miscellaneous parts. I was hoping to restore this but I don’t think it will happen, so I just want to get rid of it. The price is $3,000. I actually have more than that in it but I just want to cut my losses.”

Doors have rollup windows.
Has slider windows in back.

(03/15/2014) The sides of the body’s rear have been heightened.
“1949 willys that still runs and drives. Has the original iron duke 4 cyclinder with the 3spd tranny. Motor still starts right up and runs great. This is just a cool old jeep for someone to keep how it is or build into a wheeler or even restore it completley. I suggest a trailer if your not close to the gresham area.
On 31 all terrains with 90%
Doesn’t leak a drop of anything
Clean title in my name with Oregon plates.

I have a lot invested in time and money getting it to where it is but it still needs some work. I just would rather some one who loves these as much as me finish her off and drive her then me put her in storage but if I don’t get any serious interest I will store it till I get a new garage space so please no stupid low ball offers.
