About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1958 Willys Pickup with young fire company conversion body. Built to be a brush fire truck. 1 of 8 to come out of buffalo. Truck has 7,000 original miles. The truck has a folder full of paper work and good registration.”
“1954 willys cj3b. has been stretched to 92 inches. primarily built to be used in the sand. but has been licensed and insured for the last 15 years that i have had it. engine started as a mid 60’s ford 428 cu in……..as found in the kr500 shelbly mustangs. i took it down to bare block and built it to 435 inches with, 10.5 comp, aluminum edebrock heads, gear drive, comp solid cam, aluminum roller rockers, edel..broc performer intake etc. ended up with 500 hp. the trans is a built to the hilt c6 auto with b and m holeshot 2400 stall converter.
Listed as a 1946 CJ-2A, it looks more like an MB with a CJ front clip.
“New: Carb, gas tank, oil pan gasket, fuel pump, ignition parts. other brake parts.
This is considered a collectors item in many circles.
I had it running and driving but I ran out of time and money. It will need to be transported out but it rolls easily. All of the tires hold air. The only thing it needs to run is to re-install the oil filter and oil lines. It is an easy fix. When running, it smoked a little, but that is expected from a 68 year old vehicle. I have a title for it and a paper trail. It has been bought and sold a few times without the title being changed over.
This is an excellent vehicle to drive and restore at the same time. There are many parts available for it and it’s easy to work on. Own a piece of history!”

UPDATE: Joe and his wife were told (more than once) this was listed at $1600 by the seller. However, according to the Craigslist ad it is $16,000. I’d say it is worth somewhere between the two prices.
Joe spotted this at the Kmart Kruse in last night in Phoenix. Looks like a really good price to me.
Joe writes, I told the seller all about eWillys and that I would be submitting these pics and some info… he liked that idea. I don’t know much (or anything, really) about these, but I know I liked this one… and was surprised at the reasonable price.
“I have a what was sold to me as a 1947 Willy’s, I am taking some parts off and will have this left. Has Spring Over , 3-4 ” lift springs. Body is badly rusted so really no good at all. Frame was painted when built up and appears OK ans are the springs and front/rear ends. Has plates but owner lost the paper Title so it maybe gotten one way or another. So what you see is what you will get, NO ENGINE-NO TRANNY- Has Saginaw non power steering conversion also. Email first then I can call or text back. Thanks”
