About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This is listed as a 1942 Ford, but I don’t see either ‘1942’ nor ‘Ford’ anywhere. I like the rims.
“Engine went bad a few years back good running gear no rust in the tub great builder have many spare parts to go with it
Pair of front and rear axles
Transmissions and transfer cases

“1948 Willys Jeep truck 4 by 4 1 ton completely original el 134 go devil engine 3 speed transmission with PTO runs good register till next year and the VIN number is correct on the title body is clean straight”
“Here we have a very solid 1949 Willys Jeepster ( Arguably the most desirable & loved American autos ever made, only about 9,000 Jeepsters 4 x 2 were made between 1946 & 1949 ) this one with a Buick V6 transplant & two speed power Glide! Car was restored about 12 years ago. We to tooled around with our kids in her for about 6 summer but now car is not running, I believe it has a bad ground somewhere -car is dead when you turn the key. Very hard to find a Jeepster in this good a condition – but will certainly need some TLC – some minor body work & a new Vinyl a top will definitely be needed. Note: I do have a set of the original rims.
Family love affair may be over – but this is not a fire sale, but we’re throwing it out there to see if there are any interested Parties. My guess is it should sell between $3,500 & $5,500 bring your best offer”
“I have some parts from an old MB – some of the parts look like they belong to a CJ2a so please see the photographs for details
MB Tub #659XX (Number on the driver’s gusset – only 5 numbers so its an early one – probably 1942). I purchased a set of GPW data plates to help with the registration that can go with for the right price). It looks to have been patched at some point and will need some love.
Fenders
Grille
Hood (has a hole in it from P/O)
Windshield
Seats (not sure what they are from)
Driveshafts

This late 1940s(?) photo shows a Navy Shore-Patrol jeep leading a truck carrying a Seahawk through the streets of china. These planes are being shipped from Shanghai to Kiangwan Air Base.
I’ve been polishing an article related to the O.E.Szekely and Associates Mobile Auxiliary Power Unit. One of the interesting things that this brochure from a late 1940s Willys Overland Equipment Book notes is that there are two types of Units. The “B” unit is designed for aircraft service and produces only DC power (28 1/2 volts), while the “C” unit produced DC and AC.
