About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Frame in good condition. Motor is free and turns over. Carb needs rebuild or cleaned. Needs floor pans and patching on tub and cross braces. Neat project at a good price. Good for restoration or parts. Text or call or email for questions. Stored inside. $1000 or best offer.”
Doug spotted this CJ-5. It doesn’t run, but there’s value in it.
“For sale is an older CJ jeep. I’m not to sure on what the exact year is but it has the rare dauntless V6 which was only available from 66-71. It does not currently run but the engine turns over and the transmission shifts through all the gears. The body is in OK condition, but has its share of rust due to its age. The frame is in really good condition. Everything seems to be there to make it a running Jeep. It also has a winch on the front and PTO with gearbox reduction on the back, they are both Ramsey brand.”
“Here we have a 44 jeep. Tub is very rough. Comes with a 3 speed with spicer 18, clean cj2 grill,mb willys hood, and a couple other things. No pink, just bill of sale. Out of dmv system so it would be easy to get title”
This complete motor may be worth a look if you are wanting a V6.
“Built 231 Buick V-6, bored 30 with TRW pistons, Comp cam (can’t remember specs), ARP head bolts, Headman Headers, complete Petronix ignition system, distributor has been curved for build, practically brand new edelbrock performer intake, also have a Weiand single plane intake, 450 cfm Holley 4 barrel with Quick Fuel secondary metering block conversion . I’m sure there’s more that I’m forgetting. Engine has less than 5000 miles on it intake has less that 200 miles. Engine was in my jeep, but I pulled it for an LS swap, and I need it gone to make room”
This is a project, but there are plenty of extra parts. May be worth a look.
“Confirmed 4th owner has for sale, best offer, a 1955 Willys station wagon 4 by 4 stored 40 years, ramsay 8000 pound PTO winch, whole range warn overdrive etcetera.
Partially completed body off restoration, body professionally sandblasted and rust treated. Original parts plus a storage unit full of Willys only parts all must go”
(10/02/2015) “For sale is a very rare 1963 Jeep CJ-6 … project vehicle with a goodly amount already re-done Rebuilt Engine New Suspension Some body repairs done Original chrome trim on front lights, original glass lenses on front signals Rollbar Rhinolined tub Storage bin Full soft top and doors Custom sized bikini top Tow Bar Super heavy duty bumpers front and rear New steering wheel Needs: tires, some body work, paint … and this becomes a restored antique worth $20k or more Receipts for all parts and labor done available Lost my job and absolutely must sell this vehicle … I have at least the asking price into it as of now, not looking to “make money” off this sale, just get back (most of) what I’ve put in and survive”
(03/06/2014) Check out the chrome bumper. Could this be a Tuxedo Park IV?
“I’m getting older so it’s time to clear out some of the childhood toys. Offered here is a pretty rare Jeep CJ-6 last operational in 1988. I’m 56 years old and I have only ever seen 4 of these including this one, & one in a John Wayne movie. The VIN has a prefix of 8422 making this an extremely rare “Tuxedo Park” model, only 460 of which are reported to have been made.
(06/02/2014) It doesn’t look like the engine has run many miles since the rebuild. looks pretty clean.
