About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This looks like an interesting project. It does not include a motor. I suspect the running gear has been updated.
“this is a 1953 cj3b this is a small project all the hard works done all body redone new fire wall new floors this was being built for a sand toy i have to many projects i hate to sell but need the room dose NOT come with motor comes with rebuilt tranny and transforcase it is ready for a 350 custom motor mounts the frame is boxed in custom power stearing it comes with 600$ adapter it has a painless wireing kit not yet in stalled custom cross member and a custom drive line very clean comes with the seats i built a custom seat mounts so it has LOTS of leg room full custom roll cage and brand new tires
“This rare seat came out of a 1952 M38A1 and it will also work in an M38 Military Jeep as well. It has the original canvas bottom seat but is missing the back cushion. The bottom seat canvas cushion is in good condition for being 61 years old and C Frame is in good condition as well. I am asking $350.00 …a fair price.”
“This is a engine from a 1940 Willys Americar model 440, although I think it was last in a Willys Jeep because of the CJ2A motor mounts and oil pan. It has some unusually characteristics, like the head, dipstick, manifolds, carburetor etc..
IT DOES NOT RUN! It is seized from sitting. Make no mistake, this engine is for parts or rebuild only.
Key words; Willy, MB, GPW, universal.
The cars shown are for illustration only.
Call during daylight hours only.

“I am selling our willys jeep, it is a cj2a all original. The body is in very good shape, some very minor rust issues. The glass is in mint shape, original seats are there, need upholstery. We haven’t driven in about 8 years, so probably need to be towed out. My brother tows cars and I can work something out if a tow is needed. I have title for jeep as well. Please email for contact info, thanks.”
(08/26/2013) This doesn’t include the winch. Looks like a good rig.

How about these rusty jeeps! You can see the original here on Flickr. It appears this jeep junkyard is in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, but I can’t swear to it. The photo was taken this past June.
