About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1949 Willys CJ-3a Jeep for sale. This is a project. No engine, transmission, transfer case. or hood. Has fenders, grill, and windshield. Needs lots of work or part out. Tub is rusty but I’ve seen much worse get fixed. Have title and matching vin tag. Might be a good rockcrawler project, Jeep rat rod, fix up and putt around, or?”
(10/04/2013) Two of the photos are old, but it sure looks like a nice jeep. I’ve never seen those Buick valve covers. This jeep is only 2 hours away from me. If I had a box of money, I’d grab this one.

Here’s a dually FC-170, though it’s only running single tires in the rear at the moment.
“1964 Jeep Fc-170 For Sale! Well Maintained, Fully Restored! Vehicle Has Had Only Two Owners. Very Rare To Find. If Interested, Please Contact Lawrence At 734-752-8336.”
“Very nice late war production (June 1945) 1/4 ton Ford jeep. All major components on jeep are original. The frame, engine block, and data plate on glove box all have matching numbers (271418), and because this is a late war composite jeep, the tub is a ACM Type 2 and has serial number 246701.
Jeep has undergone a complete ground up restoration to include; engine completely rebuilt (cylinders oversized .40), transmission rebuilt, transfer case rebuilt, brake system rebuilt, steering system rebuilt, new wiring harness, and both differentials rebuilt. In addition, the floor of the tub was replaced. I have receipts for all the work that was done, including the many new or NOS parts that were purchased for the restoration. I would classify this jeep a motor pool class restoration, not a factory class.
It isn’t 100% stock, as the bow holders, the original lights, the original windshield, the original parking lights, and fenders have been changed/modified. The gauges look like they have been updated, and the dash has changed a bit. That said, it looks like a fair price if the body is as solid as advertised.
“1947 Willys CJ-2A Jeep
VERY ORIGINAL!
Tub, Drivetrain and Frame are original, and unmolested.
Has factory running boards, heater, PTO and Utility Bumper Hitch.
Starts, runs drives and stops, I use it all the time until the snow flies around town.
Can run it just as it is, or would be an excellent full restoration project.
Front seats in great shape, has a Besttop top with doors that is 2 years old.
Stored in garage always. Tub is solid, floors are original and solid, as is tool compartment under passenger seat. Has new non-directional tires including spare. Has 12 volt charging system, with electric fuel pump.
Call 845-382-1827 for details.”
“For sale is an excellent example of restoration down to the last detail. This ’52 M38A1 is completely restored…like the day it would have shown up in the motor pool. Now ready for service as a real head turner around town or in a parade. Also includes full canvas and side panels also in great condition. Asking $13,500. Additional pics available.”
