About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

The pics are tiny, but there are several. There may be value here.

“hello im a finally selling my cj2.. i have had it now for over 35 years. I completely rebuilt it in 1980 every last bolt was taken out and replaced.. Everything is close to original. original 134 hurricane motor in front of the t90 transmission and a dana Spicer 18 transfer case. all original axles. this jeep can crawl up anything without even being in it. still starts and runs like a charm. the motor probably has less than 900 miles on it if that. the only thing that makes this jeep look bad is the paint. 33 yr old paint. other than that my loss is you gain. you must see to appreciate this old beauty.”

“Very early civilian version of the venerable WWII Jeep trailer. Bantam lost the contract to make the Jeep, but they won the contract to make these trailers as a conciliation. This was made shortly after the war as a perfect trailer to use with the newly invented CJ Jeep.
This trailer is in very original shape. There are some bruises and rust. The rust is mostly contained to the floor. I tried to take pictures that represent the condition the best I can. If you would like more pics, just ask. I think that with a little bit of sweat equity, this would be a great little trailer. ”
I’ve updated the post to correct my own confusion.

I spent too much time cooking tamales Wednesday night and ran out of energy to do updates. I made some roasted corn tamales with a mole sauce and layered black bean puree and banana puree tamales with a coconut sauce. Ann was very pleased with the results.
These have just been steamed.
The tamale on the left is the roasted corn and the one on the right is the layered blackbean/banana tamale (slightly sweet).
On another note, I was answering a reader’s question when I ran across this really cool car for sale, a former Texaco Courtesy car. I thought it was so neat that I wanted to share it. I don’t know anything about these or if the price is reasonable or not ($3750). It’s in Glyndon, MN.
