About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a 1948 Jeep Willys Built by Dynamic Customs here in Lufkin Texas! This Jeep Willys was just completed this month! It has a 74 4 bolt 350 stock with new gaskets, intake, carb, fuel pump and timing chain. I have taken 150 photos to show you every aspect of this jeep to give you an idea of the extensive work that went into building this ride! It rides like a Cadillac with the coil over shocks, and has loads of horsepower! You won’t find a more reliable and fun to drive rat rod then this 1948 Jeep Willys! Yes it’s registered and fully street legal!”
“Way cooler than a T-Bucket … and a blast to drive!
’46 Jeep Street Rod / Rat Rod. 2×3 rectangular tube frame, Lincoln front end with disc brakes, radius rods and volks steering box. leaf spring mounted S-10 rear (open), 400 cl. small block Chevy with a mild cam, 4 barrel dual feed carb. and roadster headers. Turbo 400 tranny w/manual reverse valve body, B&M ratchet shifter and trans cooler. Also has aluminum radiator and electric fan. Not sure of the mileage on the motor but it has great oil pressure and runs nice and cool. Shocks were never installed but it seems to ride fine just like it is.
Nice build quality and very fast! Ready to trim out to your personal taste … ie: decals, ratrod artifacts etc.
This little beast is street legal and comes with a clear FL. title. Welcome to come check it out before you bid. Otherwise please ask questions first. Only had a couple hundred miles put on it since it was built.
I got it as part of a trade and it’s been sitting a while so if it was me I would freshen up the carb and throw in a set of plugs. The only other thing I can think it could use is a good alignment since it was never done when it was built … but it is 100% drivable like it is. I’m just a stickler for the little things.”
UPDATE: The seller indicates this is a 1950, but as Bob and Bill point out, it was manufactured in 1949.
This looks nice.
“Up for auction is a 1950 Willys Jeepster. The car runs and drives perfectly, and is an excellent car show candidate or cruiser. The Willys had an older restoration, and has no rust. Equipped with the more desirable 6 cylinder engine and the 3 speed manual transmission, the Jeepster is a turn-key car you could get in and drive anywhere. The previous owner had the car since 1976 and regularly drove it around town. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 302-540-1990. Thanks for bidding!”
“1951 M38 military jeep for sale. Clear title with 14,000 miles on the odometer. This Jeep originally came from Arizona so it has no rust -solid body and frame. New tires with lockouts. Original engine. Must be seen to be appreciated. ”
“1954 Jeep Flatbed Truck Four Wheel Drive. Body mounted on 1988 Ford Ranger Frame and drive train has V-6 engine If interested call for more Information.”
(09/26/2013) This jeep has an unusually customized dash. The louvered rear and hood give it a different look as well.
“I’m selling my recently restored 1963 Jeep. I love this thing but it is simply not practical for me. I run around way to much with work. This jeep runs like new and everything works. No squeeking, no dents, it’s like new. There are a few minor nicks in the paint but nothing major. I shipped this down from the states back in April. It has 1900 miles on it since being restored. It has Bluetooth retro sound stereo with kicker speakers. Perfect island ride. Turns lots of heads. Handles hills no problem. I have taken very good care of this jeep. I hate to sell it but I’m buying another trick and I can’t keep 3 vehicles. I’m asking $13,500 Serious inquiries only please. 340.626.9308”
“A set of 4 turbine style aluminum wheels of a 79 bronco, fits most f-150, jeeps and many more. 5 bolt 5.5″ lug pattern. these are 8.5″ wide inside the bead and about 9.357″ out to out. backspacing is about 3.5″. Really fit the bronco well but we went to wider wheels and bigger tires so these can go.
$200 with the lug nuts and washers, no center caps. these are the larger center bore wheels that should work on the older Jeeps with the larger diameter lockouts.”
“50 Willies flat fender. Has Cherokee fuel tank, brake pedal assembly, master cylinder and power steering box. Leaf springs all 4 corners with full size 1/2ton Chevy running gear. Warn hubs. Great project!! $1200 with axles. Will consider trades as well.”
