About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This Jeep has been family owned for 45 years. In the last few years the motor has been cleaned up, it has been repainted, the seats recovered, new tires, a new clutch, and it runs pretty good for the year. Selling it because we don’t use it much. Unsure of the mileage. Most older vehicles have lower miles! My family probably put less than 500 miles on it. ”
“1947 Willys Jeep with F134 engine. New radiator, radiator hose, thermostat, gasket, thermostat housing. Still running but head gasket blown between 3 & 4 cylinder. It is a fun little jeep. Was a turn keep and still is. Come drive it today on a sunny sunday. The roll over bar went to the dump couldn’t sell it for gas money.”

“1946 WILLYS CJ 2A civilian jeep. Great original condition. Rebuilt motor runs nicely. Solid body. Seats upgraded but have pair of original seat frames. Original 5 matching rims and matching good tires. Has hard to find original oil bath air cleaner & crossover pipe from carb. Extra carbs, manifolds, included plus fuel pump + box of miscellaneous small parts. Has front PTO drum winch which works fine. The Signal-Stat turn signals and original horn button all worked when I got it but don’t now. Solid, straight WILLYS logo tailgate and sides of hood + WILLYS logo windshield frame which folds and opens. Has optional front locking/unlocking POWER LOCK hubs. All brass dash information badges still in place + original serial plate on inside of firewall. This is an early production 1946 and has the coil on inside of the firewall plus the holders on drivers side for the top bows. Roll bar and a tow bar also included. Has B.C. registration. Mileage 53,000 miles. Has been sitting waiting for restoration for last 6 years, hence some needles and rust on some surfaces but it is here for sale for someone else to complete. Chilton’s, Clymer & a Haynes repair manuals included + The Ballantine’s history of “The Indestructible Jeep.” Original color was Buttercup Yellow (see rear wheel picture) and Field or Pasture Green but you also get some red and dark green and black! Great condition for a 65+ year old jeep. Tuned up it will be a solid hunting or 4 x 4 jeep. This one has the potential to be another $10,000 to $12,000 restoration when cleaned up & completed.”
“I purchased this awesome 46 CJ2-A with the intent of making her road worthy and slowly restoring it back to its beauty but it doesn’t have a title and I have not had the time to deal with getting one so here we are. The Jeep is in pretty good shape for 67 years old and it starts right up and drives! All 3 forward gears work but reverse is dead but I have an extra good transmission for it. The brakes are non-functioning currently but the brake lines are all in great shape and the master cylinder isn’t pitted, just never bled them since it wasn’t road ready. This CJ2 had metal work done to it before I got it and the exterior is very solid. The interior floors aren’t bad but they weren’t done as nicely as the exterior panels. Windshield frame still swings out and folds down and there is very little rust/rot, even the vacuum windshield wiper works. The lights still work as well as the original twin stick 4WD and I have an extra set of axles to go with it too. The seat frames are in good shape and the gas tank isn’t all rotted away. Original radiator is perfect. Fenders are in amazing condition. Has original Willys rims and four tires that hold air. Many other extra parts will come with the Jeep. Obviously it will need to be trailered home.”
“This was a project that I bought from my cousin that I’ll never get around to. It’s taking up space and I’m sure there’s someone out there that would kill to have.
1947 CJ2A flat fender Willys Jeep. It’s got a Chevy 350 mated up to a 3 speed manual. Doesn’t run but engine turns freely. It’s also been set up with power steering. The body has holes cut in it to fit the engine. Definitely a good project rig for someone with more time.
I have a clean title to go with it.
Also I’ve got a very rare matching hard top and doors from Koenig Iron Works which is in great condition that I’ll sell for an extra $500.”
“Engine isn’t stuck but needs work to get running. No title yet, bill of sale only. If I manage to get it running the price will go up considerably.
It took me awhile to get my hands on one of these and I don’t really want to sell it but I’ve hit a rough patch and could really use the money. I don’t have regular access to a computer so please don’t send me an email because I probably wont respond.”
“I have for sale 1948 willys for parts. No Title. The tub is good for parting out only, the drivers floor is rusted completely out. It would be good if you need specific pieces of sheet metal. The frame is rusted through and patched. This has a pinto four cylinder running motor, axles, springs, drive shafts, tailgate, rear hitch, four original rims, windshield, fenders, grill, hood transmission, transfer case and other parts. It also has some parts on it for a trencher attachment like the, pto, hand engager, large toothed drive gear, universal joints, drive shafts and rear attachment. This has no brakes. It would be good for a trail rig. The battery and gas can does not go with the jeep.”
(03/20/2013) This looks like a nice little jeeping jeep. The seller notes that this jeep saw action in Guam. It has a Bobcat fiberglass hood
