About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“For Sale–1947 willys stationwagon. Either restore or use as a parts vehicle. It is pretty complete,4×4, flat head 4 cyl. Also comes with a complete 3 piece set of front floor panels. Would like to sell before it gets buried in the snow. Price $550.00……Any questions email or call… Thankyou”
“1963 Willys CJ-6. Kaiser manufactured. 4 cylinder, 3 speed. Runs and drives good. Odometer says 31280, may well be original. Has rust in fenders and some in the floor. Has some bondo and patch work. Has a nice Bestop soft top. I read they made 50,000 of these versus 10x as many CJ-5s. The CJ-6 has a 20″ longer wheelbase, otherwise they are the same. Predecessor to the CJ-8 scrambler and the LJ wrangler, this is the original. I got it to restore, but have a few other projects going. I am also selling two a Willys CJ-2As.”
(09/17/2014) If the red one runs and drives, this may be a good price.
“I have 2 1956 willys jeeps, one is fairly rough, other one is pretty solid. The solid one has hardtop on it. Looking for 1500 cash, whole or partial trades as well. Both ran recently, needs a charge and fresh fuel
“I have in my possession a 1950 willys cjv-35 (no title), these are a rare military jeep, 1000 of these were made in 1950 for the navy they are a military jeep they are a combination of the MB, M38 and CJ-3A jeeps There are less than 100 of these left that are in conditions ranging from restored to a pile of parts I also have a motor for it the motor is missing a few parts but I believe I have all the parts for it, the motor was running when pulled but was burning some oil and probably needs to be rebuilt (it is not the factory motor).these jeeps were designed to be water proof i have the air filter, oil filter and cross tube. the front and rear differentials, hood, and windshield have all been under cover until last week when i assembled the jeep. The front differential has new axels. The body has some pretty bad rust but the sides are in good shape. The steering column is not factory
with it comes a 1947 cj-2a frame with front and rear differentials, the frame is in decent shape and has been under a tarp for the last few years. I would love to see this restored, unfortunately I need to sell these to help pay for school and I have another project that takes priority. please contact me with any questions! i get home about 5:00pm weekdays and am free on weekends”
Here’s a unique bit of Willys-Overland literature. It’s actually a poster.
“Very neat and unusual 1949 poster and postcard from Willys-Overland Motors. The poster is trying to get dealerships to come on board with their lineup of vehicles. The postcard is for sending in to get setup as a dealer. This rare poster measures 22″WX17″T. There is one small tear measuring about 1/2″ on one of the creases of the poster. This would be an excellent addition to any collection.”
