This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Rare Army jeep with Willys frame and Ford GPW body. Just had the entire brake system redone. Runs and drives well. A great WWII military Jeep. Has a tow bar that can be easily removed and a 12 volt system.”

“Selling 3 16” wheels that came off a 1947 CJ2A. They are in real nice condition and only need a blast and paint. They fit all the CJ’s from the CJ2A’s up to the CJ’s until 1971. So if you have a Willys these are real nice and are the “rivet” style.
Asking 25 each. New Re-po’s are over 100 each.”
The red OD looks like it’s had some use.

I want 600 each for complete overdrives, and 250 for parts overdrive.with gas being what it is these change your gear ratio with 1 shift from 5.38 to 4.56 or about a 25% overdrive save ,save save on gas and wear and tear on your engine and drivetrain. For model 18 transfer case”

This runs, but it looks like a bit of a project still.

(05/21/2013) Looks solid. It needs a pto shaft.
“L6-226 Flathead, driveline is original with the exception of 12v conversion and electronic fuel pump, Koenig PTO winch (need driveshaft for winch), Warn overdrive, Warn front locking hubs, wagon is 99% all original, interior still has wood slats, Willys floor rubber, all seats, headliner, etc, Willys stamped rear bumper, all chrome molding, lettering and grille slats, etc. I am the 4th owner of the Wagon. I have the original manuals and a pretty good paperwork trail for the history of the wagon. If interested shoot me an email and we can discuss further.

(05/07/2013) I never thought I’d seen another pair of folding chair seats in a jeep. Here’s the last set we saw.
“1951 Willys CJ3A. Clear title. Runs and drives, but needs work like they all do. all original running gear. Don’t really want to sell it. would rather trade it for an old Ford pickup. 1969 or older. Must be a driver. No junk.”

(05/05/2013) I’m gonna guess that ‘it may need brake work’ means ‘it definitely needs brake work’.

(05/02/2013) This jeep has been disassembled.
“I have a 1948 CJ-2A very well used. I bought it about a year ago and when I got it stripped down it was more than I wanted to take on right now. The pictures are from when I bought it — it has totally been stripped but can still be towed with the A-Frame in the front. I did get the engine running before I stripped it. Vehicle is sold as is with no title.”
We made it home after driving 10,043 miles through 27 states. Time to rest. I’ll summarize the trip tomorrow night. Thanks to everyone who helped make it so special!
