About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a rare willys jeep! It’s 4×4 with a 4 cylinder hurricane motor which has a fresh rebuilt by jasper. Has new glass all the way around which was 2300 between glass and rubber seals! Runs great! Just needs interior work. Great project car!”
“The project vehicle I no longer have time for. New muffler, alternator (straight wire), and brakes. Needs minor work to be a fun and reliable toy. No title. Windshield is from a CJ3A circa 1950.”
That’s one long bumper on the front. Might be worth a look.
“Running Willys:
– Indoor kept
– Rebuilt starter
– Bikini top over Roll Bar
– Minor surface rust; no rusted through frame, pan, hood, fenders or bed (as shown in pics)
– Heavy duty Hitch
– Solid steel front bumper with ample room for winch/hitch
– New Battery
– Jerry can mount on rear gate
– Lifted, but easy to drop again if desired
Great for farm and ranch, crosses just about any terrain with plenty of torque.
Needs headlamp attention if wanting to run on street or install light bar/driving lights
for off road. Paint it, restore it to all original – if you wanted. Other minor, regular maintenance issues to address as needed.
Won’t last long at this price!”
“The truck has been in the family over 35 years. No mud or rust. (slight surface rust) runs, needs jumped has bad battery. All original equipment and glass. price is firm.”
“Up for auction is my SUPER RARE 1963 Willys 4×4 Jeep FC-170 forward control pickup truckwith full light bar. It has a desirable, 6-cylinder motor that was rebuilt 10 years ago. It has a manual transmission. The Jeep has been garaged and has not been run in the last 5 years due to the clutch going out. It needs brake work. I have not tried to start it since I parked it a few years ago. There are small, minor rust spots at random around the vehicle; also, the floor pans on driver’s and passenger sides needs work. This vehicle has always been garaged. This would be fantastic as a restoration project, or to do some work and drive around as it is now!
Given the warn winch and the power locks, this might be worth a look.
“The jeep is in fair condition with some TLC required. There is some rusting and some dents in the body. Needs brake job on the 11 inch brakes. It runs, is drivable and oily. Jeep has a Warn winch, Power lock front differential, power track lock rear differential, full roll cage, like new soft top and many spare parts. If you are looking for a restoration project or a woods/ mud vehicle you should come check out this jeep. Worth more for parts than the asking price.”
“A Willy’s Jeep (MB?) for sale to anyone offering a reasonable amount. This would make a great winter restoration project or as parts for a Willys owner. Willing to let it go to anyone willing to offer a reasonable amount at or above scrap price. Not sure of exact year as selling from afar, but if questions will get answers.”
