About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“FORWARD CONTROL JEEP 4X4 FC-170. NO TITLE. BILL OF SALE PROVIDED. ORIGINAL FLATHEAD INLINE 6 CYL. STILL RUNS. NO BRAKES. THIS JEEP IS ALL THERE. ALL GLASS IS GOOD EXCEPT DRIVERS SIDE WING WINDOW. RESTORABLE RARE CLASSIC THAT IS GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND.”
“It has the original flat head and a three on the tree. Only 3000 made. The motor still turns. Most of the parts are military edition.
The numbers all match up. If I don’t get at least $800 I will just part it out!!!

“I think these pictures were maybe part of a salesman’s book or catalog. There’s not really a consistent theme. I see one Farmall tractor, some implements, a Jeep. (I believe it is marked Willys but it’s hard to tell.)
They are black and white. All have three holes punched on one side. A few have several sets of holes. Some have a sort’ve cloth backing. Others have a tab edge along the side of the picture.
I’m counting 23 pictures, but there are two more that are dupiclates. (Two of the one with a piece that looks like an arrow, and two of the farmer in the white shirt and hat.)
I don’t remember seeing another Steger appear for sale.
“This pedal car was found in the rafters of a garage in Chicago. It was purchased at an estate sale where it was found. Original wood bodu. Refurbished. Asking 550 obo”
“I have a true Barn find. Pulled out of the barn for the first time in 14 years. It has a Hi-Po 302 Ford small block with a C-4 auto trans. it ran great when parked. It has Headers, glass pack exhaust, Hurst shifter ect. I have a spare trans, high rise intake a rebuildable 4 barrel Carter carb that will come with it. Several other parts too, can’t remember what I have. I have doors and top for it (leather not hard top). Text is okay, may take trade.”
I’m wondering if they are running a side shift T-90 or a Ford Toploader with the Pinto engine.
“1946 Willys Jeep. Previous owner replaced the original flathead engine with a rebuilt Ford 2.3L 4cyl. Pinto engine. Runs fine, 60 psi oil pressure. The rest of the the drivetrain and suspension is original. The entire brake system has been replaced/rebuilt except for the hardware on the wheels. I have new brake shoes for it, just not the springs, adjusters, etc. The original fuel tank is missing so I have a small gas can in it now that works for starting and running, and I’m including a 12 gal. fuel cell I bought new but never instaled. Front seats need to be replaced. Body is in great shape for a Jeep this old with no major flaws. Basicly a good Jeep that needs a little work.”
(04/16/2013) “Frame up restoration with many new parts. fhead 4 cylinder engine upgrade.rebuilt transmission and transfercase. new, paint, rollbar, seats, srereo, top, tires. I can email pictures.”
“1942 Ford GPW WWII army jeep, missing engine and radiator, 4 original combat wheels, Many F mark parts, fairly straight tub, straight fenders, hood and grill, frame looks solid, needs complete restoration, dated 4/22/42”
